Illuminati 2G is here with 40 Glocc, how's it going?

What's up with you bro?

Not too much. What you been up to on the music tip since your last mixtape dropped?

Alot has happened since then. Grinding, getting it in, staying after it. Just been out here in these streets.

What's up with the Zoo Babies?

Yeah those are my lil homies. They that new heat and they west. That's real talk. They got a song out right now called The Type Of Shit I'm On. It is basically showing that political side of issues that I am going through and they trying to stop my freedom of speech and everything. It's like everything we are told we can't do, we doing it despite all of that. Regardless, so yeah they coming, they are all over my NWA record. It's coming to yall soon, that new world order. It's going to be dope as hell.

That goes right into my next question. Can you give us any details or a release date for your new mixtape? The NWA one?

Yeah I mean the NWA it's going to be out real soon. I don't know the exact date because we are still making it and I want to make it to where it is just digital. I want to make to where people can pick it up in the stores also. I pushing for that and pushing for it to come out through my own company, Zoo Life Entertainment. I am really trying to do shit and push this for my own label. Zoo Life Entertainment is a movement, it's still G-Unit all day. We just trying to make it happen, give the streets that they have been missing. Because you don't really get many street records no more, you getting alot of popped out records and hella commerical and shit. I know muthafuckas getting tired of that, even the ladies. I'm the opposite to everything that is out right now. You can also call me the negative. They the positive, I am the negative (laughs)

2 tracks of yours that I have been bumping alot lately is On Tha Block with Busta Rhymes and Tek Nizzle, who I actually hollered at last week, and We Came To Party with Eminem. How did that track come together with Eminem?

I mean basically that is family. Shady/Aftermath/Infamous/G-Unit. Eminem is really the first cat that made Dr. Dre fuck with him. So alot of respect to him. We was all in the studio (40 and Dre) and Eminem walked into the room and heard some of my music and was like fuck you need to get with 40. Dre said yo 40 spit that 16 you was spitting earlier. I spit that shit for Em and he was like this fool hard. So I always respected him for that and as far as the We Came To Party track, Em laced that, along with Zoo Life and it is official. Far as the track with Busta Rhymes and Tekneek, Tekneek did the beat and the hook. There is a version with Tekneek on there, and there is a version with me, Tekneek and Chamillionaire. Cham on the verse, Tekneek on the hook. There is also a version for the Graveyard Shift album which is me and Spider Loc. Originally the record was me, Tekneek, Spider Loc and Busta Rhymes, but Busta leaked the song with his verse on it. He leaked it before I could get it mixed and add Spider's vocals, so all that happened and then we did the version with Chamillionaire that is out there. But there is another version with Spider Loc but that is how that came about.

How did the Graveyard Shift street album with you and Spider Loc come about?

That came about because both me and Spider being from the westcoast, he G-Unit, I'm Infamous/G-Unit/Zoo Life. Spider got his own shit, Baymaac, we came to the conclusion yo let's do a mixtape together man. So we started working on it and we got and bring so much originally to it, I was like yo fuck this! We giving niggas all original shit and we putting our all into it, fuck that my nigga this is a street album. We selling this 9.99! (laughs). And so we put it together like that. The street record is done, it is getting mixed and it is a problem. Muthafuckas going to like it, it's going to give you alot of shock treatment. That is what I am on right now, Shock Treament on these niggas! Because people they used to the same old shit. They ain't used to people doing something that they ain't doing. So when you say everybody vote for Obama and you say FUCK OBAMA, you get the whole attention of the whole room. You feel me?

Right

Like some muthafuckas don't feel like that but that is how I feel. So I don't just fall in line with what everybody else is doing. That don't make me a fucked up dude, that just shows you that I am my own man and I am not going to be a yes man for no fucking body. So by me being my own man and stating my own opinion, it is a shock value to the world. Right now I seem to be that only real nigga out there that really say what I feel. I'm not worried about what nobody think and I'm not trying to gain nobody's respect, I'm just being me and you got to respect the real. That is like muthafuckas out there selling records and them saying oh I am not against the gay community. I will stand up and say I don't give a fuck, fuck faggots, and they ain't got to buy my shit! Everybdy going to be like oh you tripping. I am just being me my nigga. I ain't going to sit here and tell you oh I love faggots. I don't like that shit. I feel like that shit should stay behind closed doors. Now you got faggots in hip hop and that shit is a influence on the kids. Alot of shit is a influence on the kids, the TV is a influence on the kids, all that shit. The news is a influence on the kids. People think that the news is there for the people, the news at times is really just entertainment too. It's not illegal for music to turn on random cars outside, if someone flimed it they could do it. In order to trap your mind, they give you the news with some bullshit in it to brainwash you and to keep you into the system. I am aware and alert of all that and I accept it for what it is.

You had spoke earlier that you had spoke to Dr. Dre and so that pretty much answered my next question, do you keep in touch with him. Is there any plans for you guys to collaborate or work together? I know you guys did the track Finer Thangs on your 1st album The Jackal. Do you guys have anything scheduled for any street albums or albums coming out?

I mean nah I have not talked to Dre in a minute. Last time I seen him we talked and we went into the studio. Dre laced me I got respect for him, forever for life. Dre I remember he used to tell me when I would come out of the studio that the new shit I have coming out is dope, but he had haters around him when I used to go to the studio that made me feel uncomfortable when I would go there. Muthafuckas would not let me in the studio. Like Dre would be there and he would tell the niggas to let me in, and they still would not let me in. I don't chase nobody and I am not going to deal with the haters. So I know what I am going to do, I'mma show and prove and show everybody what I can do. I can still be who I am and I know Dre is watching me achieve and he used to call me everyday dog. I used to be on the block, I am a street nigga. I would be on the block with the homies and Dre would call me and I would be like Dre you got me cheesing over here. You calling my phone. That was a big issue you know what I'm saying? So the nigga was working on giving me records for my shit and he blessed it, so just because we have not talked, I always tell niggas man, just because you have not talked to 40 in a minute, that don't make you not my homie. When I see you it is all love and that is how me and Dre is. I have not seen him in a few years but he see my work ethic, he see I am going at it and putting in work. I mean when I seen him prior it was all good and that was when we hooked up, he gave me tracks, he looked out for me. It's still going to be the same when I see him again. He is fucking with alot of my mutual friends and associates that is coming up right now. Slim Da Mobster, he is a good associate of mine and he is looking out for him right now.

How about the Rifleman project? I know with Prodigy in jail right now that is probably still on hold. Was there still a chance that you guys were going to drop a album?

I mean the Rifleman is always going to be the Rifleman. Me, Jayo Felony, Kurupt and Mobb Deep. When we all get together, we all are real close. I brought the connection of that group together. As far as like Hav, P, Kurupt, Jayo and myself. I mean you will still see some things out there. We still all talk, we still all fuck with each other, we still all go hard. Music wise we have not created alot of material as far as albums or shit like that goes, but we got other material that is coming out, you are going to hear alot of it, with all of us collaborating on the same track.

Do you have any upcoming shows or tour dates that you want to let the fans know about that is coming up for you?

Next month, the 17th or 18th, we got a show in Denver. I think we got some shit coming up in Afghanistan and in the Middle East. I am working on my partners album on Zoo Life Entertainment, Lil Tip Toe is going to drop his mixtape, Zoo Babies album, Gail Gotti coming with her shit, we just getting it in and going real hard man. I am going to drop my record independent wise just to let people know that 40 Glocc can do what he want. I got a movie coming out with Mark Walhberg and it is coming out in the spring. I am currently working on a reality show, I am staying active man, staying busy, trying to get in where it is good for me ya feel me?

Right. Well that is all the questions that I have for you. Appreciate you getting down for the interview. This there any last words or anything that you want to get out there to the people?

I mean just support 40 Glocc. When you see the media out there and they saying certain shit about me, when you see me doing crazy shit, just know that I am being me. I guess that is what attracts people to me and just keep supporting me and to Officer McFarland and Officer Collins, Officer Miller, all yall muthafuckas can eat a dick, suck it, swallow. Hit me up on the myspace, www.myspace.com/40glocc. I get back at the fans all the time. Alot of people be shocked when I hit them back. When I got time, but all of our page are run by interns, but when I get time, I fuck with people. I like to give back to the community, collab with niggas, mixtapes all that shit so hit me up at www.thisis50.com or www.hnic2.com that is Prodigy's site. Check us out man, you will see all of us going hard. Understand that.

Appreciate the interview.
