Vince Carter will be old by then, and their big men ain't dominant. Portland is way better than this, if Oden becomes a person who can play a full basketball game on a consistant basis by then, that is. Needless to say, after the trade the Cavs will pull off soon, the Cavs are way better as well. All NJ really got is Devin Harris.

Uhhh, what? Brook Lopez is probably the best big-man rookie in this amazing draft class. Vince Carter will be old, but if he can channel his game, he'll still be a great veteran shooting guard in the last year of his contract (especially if he'll be looking to sign a new one)...and you being a Dirk Nowitzki fan and all should also like Yi Jianlian's game as well. LOL.

As much as I give Oden what he deserves, I still think he should be the clearly better player of the 2 by 2011. James should also go for a dynasty and not gamble on a quick ring or 2, Carter is simply too old to start a dynasty with. I'm not saying the team you posted sucks, I'm saying that the Cavs with the addition of Mike Miller/Corey Maggeatte and a FA in 2010/11 (Dirk will be really hungry for a ring and signing for the MLE even) are much better, as are the Blazers if Oden develops into half the player they were hoping for 2 years ago. All this "New York, New York" bullshit is really pissing me off.

If he went to Portland, he'd probably win 5 titles in a row. Do you guys really think he goes to a scrub team with a bitch-made organization just for the sake of stupid hype? Even with the Cavs he could win 5 in a row if they make a smart trade for Wally/Snow soon, and add someone like Dirk in 2010. Going to NY would ruin any chance of winning a title anytime soon, unless Wade or Bosh also sign.

Huh? Going to Brooklyn would make 'em instant contenders:

PG Devin Harris
SG Vince Carter
SF LeBron James
PF Yi Jianlian
C Brook Lopez

^That might even be his best bet.

VC/Lebron would be insane if Carter can keep his play up these next few years.

Oden has a good chance to be better, but Lopez is better right now...and I was talking about bigs from the 08 draft class. Veteran Vince Carter is the last option on that roster I posted...LOL. That's easily a contending roster and I just happen to have a feeling Bron and Jay-z have a plan in place..
