Bone Thugs are the most relevant and versatile Hip-Hop group still around..  I would even go so far as to say that for all of the years they were active...

Yeah, I mean if the music is as timeless as I think it is, he should love alot of the songs from their albums...

idk

i think all their albums have flaws, but I still love em all

my argument was mainly about bizzy. hes probably the most controversial member of the group. At times I think he's a 10/10 rapper, and other times he can literally be a 0/10. B's a character that way, so by goin through the main albums in order maybe we can get the perspective of a new listener. I'll drop some reviews once other people start too  ;)

I think Bizzy doesn't want to regulate himself to one style, and he will approach tracks in ways that are so unorthadox that they just flat-out don't work.

That could be it... but I haven't heard him drop a hot verse in years. You'd think he'd atleast go back to the sure thing once in a while.

Did a quick review of Creepin' after a listen:

1. Intro - I like to call this song "true thugs". pretty good intro. not something I'd listen to on its own, but I don't skip it if im listening to the album properly.
2. Mr. Ouija - meh. i really dont care for this shit. and is it just me or did eazy-e call us all fags in the end of the intro?
3. Thuggish Ruggish Bone - CLASSIC shit. Period. The way I usually handle group efforts is I like to talk about each member's strengths and weaknesses. Not much to say this time though, everyone ripped it. I still remember when I first heard this song.. after bizzys verse my face =  :o. Thats the shit that got me into rap. 5/5 (Bizzy > Krayzie > Layzie > Wish)
4. No Surrender - See above. Word for word. 5/5
5. Down Foe My Thang - Not a BAD song, but definitely the worst on this album. maybe its just too hard for me, but the synth gets on my nerves. Bizzy and Krayzie go OFF though. 3/5 (Bizzy > Krayzie > Layzie > Flesh)
6. Creepin' On Ah Come Up - Just the core members here (imo). Good shit all around... 4/5 (Bizzy > Krayzie > Layzie)
7. Foe Tha Love of $ - I always thought flesh had a cold on this song. it makes sense cause if you hear the clean version he sounds completely different. What can I really say about this classic song... other than somehow eazy-e drops the funnest verse to rap along with EVER.... MUTHAFUCKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!
5/5 (Eazy > Krayzie > Bizzy > Layzie > Flesh)
8. Moe Cheese - I've pleasured myself to this song. 6/5

As you can probably tell, Bizzy's my favorite member of Bone. At times hes my fav rapper of all time... and others my least favorite. But we'll get to that later, this is back when he was somewhere (and someone) else. Alot rougher than his sound on E. 1999, but still perfection imo. 5/5

I noticed Krayzie's voice is really deep on some songs on this album for some reason. His flow is less melodic than it becomes later, but that's fitting - everyones a bit more thuggish ruggish on this album. 4.5/5

Layzie
had a real nice delivery on this album. Real tough and in your face. Reminds me of Dresta or BG Knoccout... i dont know which is which, but one of them. 4.5/5

Wish
and Flesh are just sorta there. Not bad, but not on the same level as the others. 4/5

All around, a solid EP. I wouldn't be mad spending my money on this in 94. Bone's biggest draw for me is their flows - its never the same on two tracks, and thats what keeps me coming back to their songs. This album is filled with verses that make your jaw drop.

5/5
