Wow, and just think, it was only a couple years ago when you were on here talking about making $20+ an hour at walmart...what happened with that gig?  Shit, and that was before you graduated from college...hell I would think Target would be throwin jobs at you for at least $35/hour.

1. never said at wal mart
2. i work at Target
3. I get paid 26 an hour now , but i'm trying to RELOCATE to san diego/san diego area
4. with 2 business degrees and and my experience i'm worth more than 26 bucks an hour now. don't give a fuck about no recession
5. the fuck do you do construction/oil fields, lol.

1. You said walmart
2. LMAO
3. No you don't.  You are lying like usual.  $54K a year a target.  Quit lying Jake, who you trying to impress?
4. LMMFAO! Your experience???  You mean that valuable McDonalds, Walmart, and Target experience? Hahahahaha.  2 business degrees?  What an idiot...do you think any employer gives a fuck that you have 2?  Getting a second degree is just a waste of time and money.  Besides, where did you go to school?  Cal State Bakersfield?  LMAO!  Like anyone gives a fuck about that school.
5. Yeah I work in the oil fields Jake, good call.  Don't worry about what I do Jake, get your lies straightened out before you do anything else.  Maybe you should be a lawyer...you got the lying part down.

BTW, doesn't Target have a relocation program?  I mean someone with as valuable skills as you have, you would think they would be begging you to stay with them.

1. never said wal mart, i've always said target since i started working there in 2005...besides if i was going to lie, why would i admit to working at mc d's for ,lol.
2. lol, here:
3. lol, 52 last year, before taxes, it's nice but i want more.
4. a) it helped me advance to 50k a year so far
    b) CSUB is AACSB accredited which is one of the hardest accreditation to obtain by a university. so my degrees do mean more than many schools who lack that accreditation.(btw it's the same accreditation that Harvard, USC, and all you top Business schools have)
   c)  Didn't you skip college? lol
  d) I have 2 because i started off as an accounting Major and decided to go for both Accounting and General Business. I also have honors in both
  e) sorry buddy but if we were ever in contention for the same job i'd probably get it over you don't hate the player hate the game.....my 2 degrees and experience>>>your non degree and oil field/construction/ moving company experience or whatever tom fuckery job you do.

5. yes, target has transfers, and i've already applied to promote up to executive, but i'm looking for a 9-5,and that's not what i want, i want something that pays more and has regular business hours, so i can be with my family more.

SINCE YOU DON'T HAVE A MBA $30 IS PROBABLY YOUR MAX.
EVERYONE GOT BUSINESS DEGREES, ESPECIALLY IN SAN DIEGO.

YOU GOTTA TO FIND THAT SPECIALTY AND BANK ON IT.

I don't think so, maybe if i work for the county or city, because most jobs are promoting 45-50, with just an associates degree. but those are those sketchy marketing jobs, i'm aiming high. are you living in SD right now?

One thing that annoys me about the majority of the workforce

-and i look good in a suite

is the inability to spell! no offense to don jacob as I see a lot of little errors all the time everywhere. how do college grads have the literacy of 8th graders!?

business degree, not english. and it was a typo.

you're also suppose to capitalize the D and J in my name as well as the H in 'how', "no ,and "is" . Plus, "is the inability to spill!" is an incomplete sentence, you're missing a "," after my name, and you are using improper English....so leave me E alone.lol.

jk.

wow congratz.. buy may I ask why you got 2 business degrees??

I started off as an accounting student then didn't want to do that anymore , but was indignant and still kept it on my grad tag, and just added another 2 quarters at school to get my B.S. In General Business as well . basically i didn't want to be pigeon holed into one career, i wanted my options.

not, really. wal mart pays their cashiers starting off 10.50 an hr....here at least, i'd imagine it'd be hire some where more expensive......

At target we pay our cashiers minimum wage....however, our pay grades are higher and if you were to stay bottom of the barrell it'd take 2 years to come up to that much. However, by that time, if you're smart you're going to try to promote....maybe at first to specialist which start off at 15. Then you can probably try for GSTL (Guest Service Team Lead) which start off at 17, then when you graduate you can go for an executive position which can earn between 40 to 50 k a year depending on your previous experience and Major. so within 4 years you could pull in a 50k job, if you're smart..it's not that hard. Also if you're a Team Lead you can go into a program where Target also pays your tuition or at least most of it.

i didn't get a 17 buck raise, i got recruited from my last job where i was a district supervisor and got on for a position in store team leadership at target. but it's possible to go from pushing carts to gettin' salary you just got to get a degree, be able to ignore the work politics.  plus look at it like this, at my store alone we pull in on average a quarter mill net a day. they can afford to pay a lot more than most places.

Thats cool. You must be a manager or some shit. Answer this tho, how come the Pizza hut inside target always runs outta those fuckin chickenstrips? Thats some bullshit right there.

As far as your degrees man, dont be so sure of yourself. The degrees will help you advance to a level above $26/hour for sure (provided youre in a  good company)....but starting pay at a lot of places, even with a degree....a lot of times is significantly lower. Dont get me wrong, the degrees will only help. But I wouldnt hold out for a position STARTING at +$26/hr.

you know what i'm not sure about that, our target has a Food Avenue (popcorn, hot dogs) and a Starbucks inside of it.

yeah, i'm starting to see that, looks like right now my best bet is to transfer within Target or Find a Government Job.
