I haven't seen any of the madea movies but its great that i'm not the only one that gets sick & tired of blacks finally being on tv, but only living up to stereotypes.  Sadly there are some blacks who like the stereotypes .  Makes me think of some of the black shows in the past & i'd wonder....why in the world did I watch that?  Example...my wife & kids in the last 2 seasons.

I don't care if she's funny or not, I only cared that Tisha Campbell looks good .  And she did a cd that was very underrated.  Mainly I didn't like that it was the daughter's boyfriend & Junior was mainly doing a lotta clumsy buffoonery.  I'm surprised Damon allowed that.  He said it best on Bamboozled that white folks love seeing black folks as buffoons.

Tisha Campbell no longer looks good bruh.  She's put on a few pounds since Martin.  I actually had a friend who did some construction work at her house and he said something along the lines of she looked like an alien that skinny at one point but then gained hella weight.  I bet most people didn't even realized Juniors girlfriend on that show was originally played by Meagan Good,  I have no idea who the next chick was though

naw, My Wife & Kids is pretty good. Damon Wayons one of the funniest dudes out there.  The thing is, all family shows fit the same mold mostly.  Hard working father who loves his family, but constantly fumbles around making silly mistakes in his marriage, logical wife who is the glue, and always somehow manages to be right at the end of every situation, 1 dumb kid, 1 smart kid, 1 cute kid.
