LeBron has suprased Kobe as the best player in the NBA. It was debatable during the regular season, but the leadership hes shown during the playoffs, and domination of opponents proves this easily.

LeBron, better all-around game than Kobe, better rebounder better passer, equal scorer, equal defender
LeBron, better leader, more of a team player than Kobe. Gets the team (lesser talent than Lakers) more motivated to the task at hand

I like Lebron - the more I hear him speak and see how he acts, he comes across as a genuine and humble dude. He's amazing to watch. I hope he stays in Cleveland...

I'm basing this on leadership ability. That's the intangible that keeps Kobe from ever being truly Jordanesque. Lebron is a great leader like Jordan was. Kobe lacks it.

Jordan wasn't great because of his dunks or defense or jumpshot, it was because he made everyone around him better and he was a great leader.

^ I don't know, most people on the USA basketball team said Bryant's leadership was one of the main pieces that helped them win the gold. Plus, the playoffs aren't even over, we don't even know where Kobe will end up taking the Lakers this year. And while Jordan obviously helped out his Bulls teammates a lot, if you followed him at all in Washington, you would have seen that he pretty much tore that team's chemistry apart. I'm not trying to shit on Jordan cause he's obviously an all time great I just think Kobe gets way too much hate.

^Kobe's leadership ability is well documented and spoken about by every media outlet last summer when he led LeBron and Wade and taught them how to play defense. LMAO@the haters on here desperate to bring Kobe down using his strengths AGAINST him in favor of a dude he mentored who hasn't even won a ring.

LeBron is the best player in the league right now imo. If the Lakers defeat the Cavs in the finals and Kobe goes off and LBJ has a bad series, i'll give that title to Kobe.
