We came from beyond L.A.'s longest running Hiphop Show
« on: August 24, 2009, 04:55:16 PM »
Sad news that this hiphop show will have it's final airing this up coming sunday from 11pm to 2am after more than 20 years on the air (88.9 KXLU). The host Mike Nardone made this announcement last night. This show was here during the KDAY era and outlasted all other local mixshows from all local radio stations. For those that don't remember Friday night flavas, ruthless radio, westside radio, way too fonkey, the joint, soul assassins, divine forces radio. The only other show that is left is the wake up show. This show aired some of the first recordings from Cypress Hill to Dilated Peoples and many local acts along with music from artists from all over the US. Just thought I'd pass the word and hope people around southern cali check out the last show. peace!!
