I mean.. I dont know what else to do.  I bought WC.. I bought 2Pac.. I got Daz EP and DPG new album.. I got Gangtsa shit OG.. just picked up Quiks greatest OG.. got Snoops new shit and Welcome to the house..

anything and everything thats westcoast related I spend money on.

.. the people who love Westcoast shit like myself go out and buy it and I was looking way too forward to this release.

SKI's been dropped by the following.. I believe in this order:

No Limit / In A Minute
Priority
Relativity
Dreamworks
Ronland Ent
75Ark
And now Columbia

FUCK EM ALL!!!!!!

That's some fucked up shit, I hope you work it out somehow Ski. How about Koch or D3? They seem 2 be putting out a lot of westcoast releases....

What the fuck happened to the hip-hop game....Ski is one of the best producers/artist in the game and yet he may be forced to dropping his release the independent route...that's not what the west need. The West need leaders that help out other westcoast talent (2Pac RIP). Right now Snoop and Dre doesn't do a lot for the westcoast (Dre couldn't give a fuck as long as he makes $, and Snoop can't even put out a good album)....the rest of the westcoast rappers seem scattered and confused. There's no direction or any westcoast label that drop releases on a consistent level. Right now (like it or not) Suge Knight and Tha Row is probably the best hope for the West. Even though they are gonna ride off eastcoast names they are still using new young westcoast rappers and producers.

Tell me this aint one of the dopest, most rarest CDS's...

I dont even play this CDS its so rare.  It would be impossible to replace if I scratched it.

Damn Ski.. sorry to hear that!!!

But for real.. fuck with D3 or Koch.  They seem to totally be catering to artists who are focusing on selling to a smaller market.  Im knowin your shit can go ghetto plat.  100,000 thousand is all it takes Ski..

Do it Indy.  Fuck the majors.  The shits still gotta get heard..  make it a double disk with Earthquake as a Bonus!    :o  :o  :o

Ill buy 3.. 4.. copies

Hey Axle,
is that the same one as the Blast If I Have To cassette maxi single? (I loved those things). Does it have Blast If I Have To Radio and Street, and The Interview, When the Smoke Clears, West Coast Rebuttal, OPD and Same Ole Nigga? Because mine looks the same as yours but it says "Music From the Original Soundtrack Friday" down at the bottom. Just wondering.

*runs off to go put this on CD*

damn that sucks, I've been looking forward to your shit since that maxi single.

peace,
tnp

Yes.. This is the tracklist:

1. Blast If I Have To (Street)
2. Blast If I Have To (Radio)
3. The Interview
4. When The Smoke Clears (Unreleased)
5. West Coast Rebuttal (Interlude Unreleased)
6. O.P.D (Interlude Unreleased)
7. Same Ole Nigga (Unreleased)

Ill scan it up along with K-Dee for WCC.  (Inside, cover, back, disk and inlay)
Give me till this weekend and Ill post em.

Its good to see people really give Ski the respect he deserves.  Like he said.. lets just all be down for the Westcoast releases and support em when they hit the retail stores.

Ax

As far as other EA Ski albums.. I have his No Limit / In A Minute E.P. in addition to his Instrumental album that he sold on MP3.com.  Im one of the few who actually ordered it and SUPPORTED SKI.  Check the cover that come with it.  Ill scan that back and cd for the homies too.  Pz.

I hate it how nobody can realize the talent that this man has.  I remember in an old source ad, there were a bunch of quotes from various people and one was something like, "Ski's the only one who can rival Dr. Dre on production".  And in my opinion, that's the damn truth.  I hate it how he always gets so overlooked.  It's fuckin frustrating for me.

I only own one E-A-Ski cd, it's the "Showdown" single, I bought it when I was in Seattle in '98, cuz we didn't have any here in Vancvouver.  I bumped the hell out of that CD.  I do own a lot of Suave House cd's with ski's production on them tho, and they are all bangers!

Oh BTW.. I didnt think I should start an entire thread for this.. but I was wondering what EA Ski has done as far as production since say.. his Ronland Entertainment Productions.  I.E.

Den Fen - Dengee Livin
Silk E - Urban.. (something)

He did that one single with Ferguson that was intended to drop on 75 Ark.. but didnt happen.  Since then I know he did some tracks on B-Legits new album.. and Yukmouths new Comp but thats about it.

Which tracks did he produce on B-Legits album.. and if you know of any other productions list em.. Thanks.
