ITs not bashing if its the truth. The truth is yes soccer players work harder cuz they run 90min, average of 10miles each game, where as in NFL its way less than that cuz the game is in spurts of 30sec or so (how long does each play take?) and u change offense and defense and the game is 60min....so its obvious soccer is more physically demanding as far as building ur stamina and being able to run for a long time. Not to mention soccer is year round when NFL is maximum of 16 games/ year if they go all the way to superbowl....they have like 5 months off...lol..in soccer u only get some weeks, the rest of the year ur training like crazynow thats ^^ just truth, go check facts and make a comeback instead of just blabbing out some shitlol Its not the truth when its your opinion. How can you determine who works harder? For one, Soccer players dont simply run for an entire 90 minutes. You act like they are long distance runners who just continuously run. The clock doesnt stop, but that doesnt mean that every player on the field is just constantly running lol. This is the sport YOU are a fan of, I would think you would know more about it. And even IF Soccer players just ran the entire time (which clearly they dont), how does make them work harder? Thats like saying that a guy running a mile is working harder than a guy running sprints. Its not hard to understand that a person who can run for a longer period of time, is not necessarily demanding more out of their body then a person who runs in quick bursts. Olympic long distance runners arent more athletic then Olympic sprinters lol. Not to mention, Football players do all of this while being insulated with gear. If Soccer players had to run around wearing all that heavy ass gear, they would faint faster then Euros at a Michael Jackson concert. And wtf are u talkin about "act all innocent"? Youve already made yourself look like an idiot in here. I didnt even come in here attacking u. I just asked u a simple question about why you would want an NFL team in LA if you dont like Football. But u got all emotional like a little girl about it. It wasnt even meant as a diss or anything.

Quote from: Chamillitary Click on July 23, 2010, 11:25:09 AM^Yeah, but in the NFL they also get hit by 300 pounders at full speed, get hit & get back up & if someone trips them, they get back up & get in their face; not act like somebody just amputated their leg & roll around like a bitch, eventually get up & then start running like nothing happened.& don't give me that "90 mintues of running" bullshit; I guess marathon runners are the hardest workers. & not to mention there is plenty of slowly ran offenses in Soccer where nobody is running. There are a few outburts, when you have the ball, but when you don't it's a light jog to a walk; so calm down champ.a 300 pounder at full speed is fast?? LOOOL that just shows how much u guys understand about sports

But u got all emotional like a little girl about it. It wasnt even meant as a diss or anything. 1 ) stop talking like NFL players run...how many miles do they run in one game?? go ahead im waiting...the longest anyone would run in nfl is a wide receiver, so go add up all the numbers of the best WR in the league and come back with a number then we can talk2 ) soccer is not just running genius...its alot of back and forth up and down the field and kickin the ball is not like kickin a beach ball, obviously it takes some energy, not to mention the hustling on defense and trying to intercept the ball from the other team...u guys analyze soccer without even knowing how hard it is to play so thats why u sound ignorant. 3 ) u guys get all excited when a 30 yard pass gets connected in football...well in soccer that happens all throughout the game and its much harder cuz u control it with ur feet, not ur hand and the ball is less aerodynamic than the american football. so just calm down cowboy, if u cant understand the complexity in that then its obvious ur either in denial or just a complete idiot cuz theres no simpler way to put it for u4 ) and this thing u guys say about 300 pounder beast running towards them...blabla...makes no sense cuz what does it matter how big the guy is, in soccer the player running to get the ball from u might not be 300 pounder but he can still get the ball from u....same as how the 300 pound guy will tackle u to stop the ball....either way the other team is gonna try to stop ur ball. Doesnt matter how big the other guy is.
wait. wtf is going on up in here? isn't that football thread stuck at the top of this sports forum about soccer? or, is it bout nfl fooball? or a mix? damn. can we get a NFL FOOTBALL thread STRICTLY bout NFL FOOTBALL? Geesh.NEWAYZ.....I can't wait to witness my team take the SB tis year! I'll miss Monda nights but thank gd for Direct Tv...and the record button. *exits' doing a touchdown dance*
