just because a funeral is done, doesn't mean its payed for.. And a big funeral like that(open for the public) there is alot of other costs, including security, police, venue.. etc.
And funds aren't just for the funeral... He was probably in round-the-clock medical care for more than 2 years straight.. thats gotta be expensive as fuck.

Plus he has a family.

BTW, why is whoever this DJ side talkin on Dre about the Ferrari?  Everybody knows that video was done and out before Nate passed away!

I'm well balanced, with immense talents...  Burn the script, then flip it to keep myself challenged.

It should also be pointed out that most music videos are paid for by the record label and not the artist, then recouped through the sales of the music. I understand the argument that Nate's friends who are a little more well-off should maybe step up and help but unless you're planning to match somebody dollar for dollar, I don't really think it right to tell people how they should spend their money. People should do these things because they want to, not because they feel obligated or guilted.

Haters gonna hate.  People talking sideways about stuff they don't know anything about.

I'll take Nate's family's word.  Here is what Nate's sister, Pamela Hale-Burns, has said...

"Nate Dogg donations
Hi, I am Nate's sister. My name is Pamela Hale-Burns. I was sitting here enjoying reading how many ppl loved my brother and his music. Been doing this for days because I miss my brother. But you know, it amazes me how no matter what a person is going thru some ppl can find it appropriate to be MEAN. First, you have no idea what Snoop and others have done for my family during this time so SHUT UP about what you don't know. If you want to donate to the fund do, if you don't don't, no hard feelings. But have a little compassion about what his family, including his kids, will see when we log on to remember him and his music. U mention the economy and how much ppl are suffering financially, we know that already, but did you also know that if a thousand ppl give one dollar then that's a thousand dollars. No one asked you to break the bank. And my brother has been in long term care facilities for years, got any idea how much that cost? OK I've ranting enough on the MEAN and INSENSITIVE ppl. Thanks to those of you who gave. God Bless."

This needed to be said.  There's been a lot of bullshit by a lot of people where they just want to go negative. I can feel a few of his fellow artists because they were mourning but a lot of that other noise is just rubbish.
