I don't think the west will be resurrected.  The only one that can even think of doing that is Dre if he lets unknown westcoast mcs rap on detox (which may never be released) but I doubt that's happening.  The West is/was Deathrow (2pac, Dogg Pound, Snoop, Dre) Cube and the family tree they have on those NWA compilations.  They had some fresher blood after 2001 came out and the Game has been the biggest start since.  I don't think the west is coming back to that extent maine ... no way.

The dudes that started it are retiring soon and imo the torch hasn't been passed.
