Fighters the UFC Should sign.

i just put the best non UFC fighter of each weight class.

Alistair Overeem - Currently the Heavyweight division in the UFC is looking pretty weak. there are 3 great heavyweights with Velasquez, Santos & Lesnar, after that the competition falls off. Overeem could shake up the division and has been talking about signing with the UFC for a long time now.

Dan Henderson - MMA Legend started his career in the UFC. he has destroyed all competition in Strikeforce. there is no one left for him to face. Recently Dana White in an interview stated he was talking to Hendo about a contract. would be a great look.

Wagnney Fabiano - He got screwed over in the WEC merger. yes the UFC Bantamweight is stacked with Cruz, Benavidez, Bowles, Jorgensen, Faber, Pickett, Johnson, Torres & Mizugaki
but he would of been a top 10 contender in my eyes. He tryed out for the Ultimate Fighter 14 but i dont know what is happening with that.

Gilbert Melendez - top 3 Lightweight. would be good competition for them to sign as the only real battle in the lightweight competitor is between Edgar & Maynard. he is set to fight Jorge Masvidal  next.

Ben Askren - Top 10 Welterweight. Against another stacked division in the UFC with GSP, Fitch, Penn, Diaz, Shields, Koscheck, Martin Kampmann & Carlos Condit. The Current Bellator Welterweight champion.

Nate Marquardt - The UFC relased him and from what i understand it was because his doctor put him on hormone replacement therapy and it put his tetostorone levels to high and failed a drug test. He is a top 5 Middleweight and a great pick up for BAMMA. Definatly to good to not be fighting under Zuffa.

I agree about Overeem. It's weird that when they had an opportunity to get someone from Strikeforce, they took Nick Diaz instead. Nothing against Diaz though because he's a bad motherfucker, but Alistair would make sense if possible.

Showtime probably wouldn't allow it anyways.

How is the UFC's heavyweight division weak? With Mir, Carwin, Big Nog, and promising future contenders like Schaub and Mitrione. While I'm not going to argue that Dos Santos and Velasquez aren't the best in the division, they both need to fight more of the UFC's elite. All we are going on is their performance and win streaks gained from low to mid-tier fighters. There are still so many questions to be answered, and the holes in their game have yet to surface. And after seeing Brock's weaknesses exposed in his last 2 fights, I'm fairly sure a good number of heavyweights can take him out. There are going to be many promising matchups for years to come. When Brock came in and shot his way to the top, people said he was going to own the division. As we all saw, it just doesn't work that way. The heavyweight championship has never been successfully defended more than twice in a row.

However Alistair definitely needs to be over there. Not because the division needs him, but because we all want to know if he can hang with the UFC's top contenders. Just out of curiosity, do you guys think he can? Honestly I think he'd be a gatekeeper. He didn't look good at all against Werdum, a guy Dos Santos walked through. And it really did look like if Werdum had actually tried to fight on his feet instead of flopping he could've won.
