King Tut is my shit. Anything else dope?
http://www.streetsneversleep.com/2012/08/23/docs-corner-busta-rhymes-year-of-the-dragon-review/01. I’m Talking To You – 4/5, Energetic intro that can be expected from Busta.02. Til We Die (feat. Rick Ross & Trey Songz) – 3.5/5, Busta and Ross spit nice verses, I’m not the biggest Trey Songz fan but I liked his hook, the beat is hard hitting.03. Do That Thing – 4/5, Awesome, this is the sound Busta needs to stick with for his albums.04. Make It Look Easy (feat. Gucci Mane) – 4/5, I was ready to write this one off but was actually shocked how good it came out as both were on point over a sample of Biggie’s “Dreams”.05. Pressure (feat. Lil Wayne) – 3.5/5, Production thumps once again, Busta delivers and Wayne’s verse was better than most of what he’s put out this year.06. Love-Hate (feat. Robin Thicke) – 3/5, The album transitions with a smoother track that’s not bad, but nothing special either.07. Grind Real Slow – 2/5, Not the type of production I want to hear Busta perform over, I’ll be skipping this one.08. King Tut (feat. Reek Da Villian & J-Doe) – 3.5/5, L.E.P. Bogus Boys’ track “Showtime” with this same beat was better, but this is still decent.09. Sound Boy (feat. Cam’ron) – 4.5/5, I love this joint, Killa Cam comes through with a solid verse, Busta’s verse and hook were good, this track bangs especially hard in the whip.10. Doin It Again (feat. Reek Da Villian & Chanel Nicole) – 3/5, Another smoother song for the ladies, better than the Robin Thicke collaboration, but also nothing that great.11. Wine & Go Down (feat. Vybz Kartel) – 3.5/5, A more up-tempo, reggae vibe going on with this one. I can appreciate the diversity this song brings to the project.12. Movie (feat. J-Doe) – 2/5, Boring, another skipper.13. Crazy – 3/5, This track lacks depth and clever lyrics which makes it pretty forgettable, but it’s nothing wack either.14. Bleed The Same Blood (feat. Maino & Anthony Hamilton) – 4/5, The project picks back up here, Anthony Hamilton’s hook is great, Maino and Busta both drop exceptional verses over mellowed out production.OVERALL RATING: 3/5
