what did y'all think about the soundtrack thus far?  The mack 10 song's gonna b dropped in favor of a Gail Gotti song and Crooked I song.  besides that, what did y'all think about the soundtrack?  I thought it was banging, Darren Vegas should silence those critics claiming Tha Row's production sucked, since he ranged from "I'm Back" to "Too Street 4 tv".  The only weak points IMO were the Michel'le and Skippa track.  The Ashanti track is alright, and "Tha Row (y'all hoes)" was not as good as I was expecting.

But there were a lot of bangers.  The 2 tracks that surprised me were the Nina and Juvenile tracks.  I'm not a Juvenile fan, but he actually sounded tight on that track, and the Nina track was str8 bangin, Vegas did a great job wit the beat.  Spider's solo track was pretty decent, as was his verse on "Tha Row (y'all hoes)".  does anyone else think he sounds a lil like CJ Mac?  The Eastwood/Crooked I collabo's were all tight, including the best song on the album, "Who wants to fuck tonight".  Only thing I can say about this is  :o, shit Ja Rule couldn't even ruin this song.  Gotta give props to Irv Gotti for the slick beat to the song.

overall, I give it about an 8-8.5/10, only thing is that this is the promo, and that the retail will have another Crooked I song and a solo by Gail Gotti

not wack, but not dope either
Tha Row (Yall Hoez) definitely caught my attention tho... the first rapper came the tightest, and dissed Snoop pretty damn hard

the first rapper on the song was Eastwood, although I think Spider Loc, the second rapper, got him hard with involving Tray Deee and Goldie Loc

I was really surprised with this.  I really had my doubts, I was expecting another TG4TR, but ended up gettin a damn banger.  Everysong is a banger (I don't count the jay z, michelle, or ashanti song, cause I don't even give them a listen)  They have great beats, crooked I is all over it, a dope diss song, and the whole album isn't filled with ridiculous disses.  Kurupts lyrics on his song were pretty fuckin wack, and its probably the worst song on there.  Ja rule definately sounded horrible as fuck, but that song is still really tite.  I hope a version of that song gets leaked to the net w/o ja rule, just like the version of lay low w/o master p.  Overall I think this album is better than paid da cost, doggystyle allstars, I got luv in these streets, last of the pound, this is the life I lead.  And this is comming from someone who hates suge knight with a mad passion and thought the row was done for.  Although tha row still may be done for, cause I bet money this soundtrack ain't gonna sell a lot, too bad.  Maybe the appearances by ja rule, ashanti, and jay z will help it sell.  Isn't it pathetic, that the worst appearances on the album are what are goin to make it sell.

i just heard the promo once (thanks nima  ;)) but i thought it sounded pretty decent. i really liked the michel'le track, sounded really soulful, my type of shit. the crooked i and kurupt songs were hot as expected and Ganxta Ridd sounded hard as fuck on his tracks.

production wasnt anything amazing but thats not to say it was bad. i liked a lot of tracks. topic wise a lot of songs were tired but i guess its death row so thats what they do. I think crooked I is one of the only cats who can talk gangsta shit in an interesting way.

but yea ill prob pick it up when it comes out
