..i used to like royce when he was underground n not playing all this sold out sheit...
...that album being rereleased was bad luck tho on the part he has been dropped by 2 labels...and both right before/after an album release...
...a little part of me hope this figguh gets it back and drops a few gems our way...hmm but then i am an optemist

I still don't understand how Royce soldout.  

First he had the Bad vs. Evil material and some dope 12"s like "Boom" b/w "Solider's Story" and people got excited for his album.  I guess he "soldout" with his garbage first single, the Trackmasters produced "You Can't Touch Me" and some bad Neptunes produced tracks.  But other than that he's made some great shit.

Rock City (American version atleast) is a great album.  The TM and 2 Neptunes tracks are the only flaws on it.  The second half of that album is near perfection with "King Of Kings", "Life", "Boom", "Take His Life", "Who Am I", ect.

I think he's making some dope shit.

royce is ill, jus watch what happens to him in the future.....everybody has to try the mainstream ass track to see if it'll blow em up, after that didnt really happen for him i cant imagine hed keep doin it.....

There's 100's of sellout artists if you consider having a Neptunes or Trackmasters beat selling out.

And "Royce City" OG European version was a very dope release, even if the American v2.0 was a watered out album.

If he's going back to his roots, he can still have a great future, something the d12 disstracks is a +proof+ of.

personally i think rock city v2.0 is a 4 mic album...C2Kncuks spoke on it and i agree with it all...give that cd a good listen...oh yeah and how is royce a sellout by getting the neptunes to do a couple tracks when snoop isn't and his first two singles are by the tunes also...it doesn't make sense to me...ahhh well...anyway what tracks on this mixtape haven't been released in the past?
