Out with elbow injury, opting for Tommy John surgery. Such a shame, he had a great season last year.

The AL East just got a lot more interesting as a result though.

Cobb just went on the DL too. The Rays better hope Hellickson gets back soon.

True Cobb is sick too, his is a minor injury though. AL East is completely up for grabs IMO.

WOW    how did i fucking miss this?   with the Red Sox horrible start it looks like the AL East is up for grabs.

You could argue that the division was always up for grabs. I mean there's a reason everyone thinks the AL East is the best and that's because none of the teams can be counted out. Some have marginal advantages over the others but for the most part it's a close race, and with this the race got even closer.

I forgot to mention this in my last post but I'm guessing that this pretty much means Price won't be moved this season. Unless the Rays were to get a Strasburg, Trout and Harper in return they probably won't/can't dare to move their ace now.

AL East is completely up for grabs IMO.
