Even Dre's #1 fan can admit it. Dre's a poor business man, he can't handle all of these artists.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

I don't think Dre is a poor businessman, it's just that he is and always will be a musician first.  I guess I just don't understand how Aftermath is run.  I mean is Dre the CEO or what?? I'd love to see Aftermath along with Shady completely take over but I don't know.  If Dre is not the actual CEO, I don't see that they can stay on top.  Maybe Dre really just wants to take care of the music.

Dre is a retard. He gots Iovine pullin strings on his bitch ass. That motherfucker sold 75% of his label to Iovine, not he callin all the shots. Why you think Rakim got dropped? Hittman? Cuz Iovine wants to go for the jackpots. Instead of droppin consistent platinum albums (preferbaly from West coast artists), Hes going for the top numbers shit (50, Em). Dre doesnt control shit.
"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."
