With DJ PRemier, Kanye West, and Just Blaze always being mentioned as the perimer producers from the east coast, it's strange that Alchemist is rarely included in this list. The bottom line is, Alchemist has never made a wack beat. From Nas's "book of rhymes" to Poverty's "Rise from Ruin" to Ras Kass' "Home Sweet Home", and MObb Deep's "Backwards", i have never heard a bad Alchemist produced song. What do ya'll think?

Yup, among the 5 best producers on the Eastcoast, along with RZA, Premier, Kanye,..

But you know, Alchemist is originally from the West, and many people (especially those on the West) still consider him a Westcoast producer.

Actually, Alchemist is from the west coast and he is very overrated IMO. All he does is loop samples over a couple of bars. Any kid with a pc can do that. I have way more respect for producers who have a concept of musical structure or a feel for rhythm.
