I just had one tonight.

My car broke down in front of this AM/PM 3 weeks ago. The timing belt broke, but it was only a 6 month old belt. They should at least last a couple of years. But out of nowhere it snaps, and fucks up my entire engine in the process, which has cost me around $1,500 to repair.

Then today, I get a call from my dad. He tells me to pick him up because his car broke down, a 88 VW Golf. I ask him where he's at, and he says he's by the AM/PM. I was thinking to myself "Damn, what a coincidence," but I didn't make anything of it. I drive down there to the place where his car stopped, and I kid you not, the car is in the exact same fuckin' place that my car was in 3 weeks prior. We look to find the problem and it turns out the timing belt for the engine broke too.

It's the weirdest experience I've had in a long time.

Speakin of timing belts, my shit is like 3 years old, engine light is on, U think it's finna snap? How does it snap exactly? When U try 2 accelerate too fast or outta nowhere or what?

Ive broken down in the same exact spot twice in the middle of the sticks. They have no street lights or nothing and it was in the middle of the night.

Naw doubt it. It's gotta be somethin else. Most belts should last more than 5 years.

my car broke down once on Woodward in detroit which is not a place you wanna break down thats for sure...i'm in the middle of the ghetto with 3 girls in my car...i was flipping out man ready to toss that car, we were on our way to ford field, but some dude pulled over and jump started my car so it was all good, peace.
