Yeah that's her, the remix with Talib Kweli & Kam is amazing too.

"The Life" was a classic song for me.  I bought the album when it came out in 2001 because of that song.

I don't know what happened to her she was signed to Dreamworks Records and was supposed to drop an album this year.  But it doesn't look like that's going to happen now.
