dmx didnt create/ write any of solos spell bound. k-solo created that style of spelling out words within most of his verses. he was doin that shit way before x even started spittin. im sure he beat him in that battle too, cause solo was always a better lyricist and could come off the dome pretty nice.

he was long gone be4 erick made the def squad... u talkin about the HIT SQUAD, kuz the HIT had das efx,epmd,redman and kevin(k-solo)..thats who u were referrin 2..

kuz he was on death row when def squad came about

yeah and sam sneed was also part of the EPMD camp at one point.

sam sneed produced a couple tracks on k-solo's 2nd album "time's up"...

both k-solo's albums are pretty hard to get.. i finally got "times up" about 6 months ago, and finally managed to cop his first album "Tell the World My Name" a week ago.. it hasnt arrived here yet tho.

to be honest ive never really checked for k solo's shit, except guest appearances on redman/epmd albums...but that answer back record was horrible...

redman didnt have k-solo kicked out the group... erick sermon was makin def squad on the sly... erick n parish jus split the hit squad down the middle cuz it was 50/50 thang..ex.. erick had redman and a member of das efx...pmd had k-solo and the other member... they split the money 50/50

as def squad was bein formed.. it was some shit about erick sermon payin these dudes 5000 dollars to break in parish's home..everybody in the hit new.. except i think das efx ( this was in tha source like moons ago..parish and some other dude)..they was in the station..and the police kept askin parish sumthin about did u and ya partner break up...he was like no..the dudes who broke in his house.. got they money from erick..did they job..hid the money and turn themselves and snitched...causin them.. to call erick in 4 questionin.. and parish didnt know, erick was apart of it..( red,k-solo and some of the hit squad members knew what was goin on..)..until they brought him in for questionin...

and with that bein said how the stuff was split..def squad was formed...erick jus took redman with him. cuz redman was erick's half..he jus didnt mess wit das.. kuz they fell off terribly cuz of the style they had..erick jus ran 2 atlanta with his half... red and k dont have problems..he helped redman with 3 of his albums.. redman only had beef wit parish..that was all..erick was lyin on parish feedin red stuff..and it pissed red off..kuz muddy waters had k-solo ft on it.. and it also had that soopaman luva diss to parish..if he woulda had somebody kicked out of a group..and fucked up their way of prosperin..why would u have that dude help u?

erick is the reason both the hit squad and epmd breakin up..kuz he has his moods and he gets big headed..
