Jay-Z Talks About His new Job
« on: January 12, 2005, 07:13:52 AM »

Jay-z was on Hot 97 yesterday talking to Funkmaster Flex.
He talked about his new job as a CEO/President of Def Jam saying that the first projects he'll have to work on are 'whoever is on the schedule, I know that the first ones coming out on roc A Fella are either Bleek or Foxy.' When asked about his daily job Jay-z said 'I'll be helping with the single selection, marketing, videos, giving some advice, I'm here to win basically.' He also said that Damon Dash had a stuation of his own [we believe it's the Roc4Life project] and that he works in the same building but that they're on good terms.

Jay-Z also said he still owns the name 'Roc-A-Fella' and could basically take it wherever he wants with some negotiation.

He also revealed that The Fade to Black DVD, covering his farewell concert at th Madison Square Garden, will come out in February.
