...I suggest you don't hesitate and buy your tickets immediately.

Man, I went to his show (George Clinton/Funkadelic/Parliament) a few days ago, and I must say that it's one of the best concerts I've ever been too.
I have to admit: I only know his more popular songs, so I'm not that much of a big fan (I like Roger & Zapp more to be honest because of the talkbox & drums), but still...they managed to create such a vibe that literally everybody in the place was dancing along with their music, myself included. And I'm not one to easily start dancing, but shit, I just couldn't stand still during the concert, lol, don't know what it is...shit was tight!

I was aware of his reputation that he plays around 3 hours, and yes sir...he played 3 hours & 15 min. here in Belgium :) It's like they just kept going. And towards the end of their set, they started letting females onto the stage, and then a few guys too, and next thing I know, all the front rows are jumping on stage (me included) and we were all dancing with the entire band. Lol, that was cool.

The funny thing was, the doors opened at 7 PM, and I got there at like 7.10 PM so I thought that there would already be quite some people in the concert area, so I just walk as fast as I can to the place, and I was like WTF? NOBODY was even standing there. They were all buying drinks at the bar just chatting a little bit. So when the concert started at 8 PM (they started playing at 8.30 PM though), that's when they all started getting into the spot. LOL...I never experienced that. At all the Hip-Hop concerts I go to, people just RUSH to get to the front row, and there, slow & easy, hehe, pretty cool actually. Oh...and there was no security either! I never thought that this was still possible in these days & times...with artists being attacked (some even shot) on stage.

I was standing on the first row where I had a great view of the entire band (including a sexy violin player...dayum! She looked Spanish and luckily for me she was constantly standing RIGHT before me, lol...perfect view throughout the concert :) I'm telling you, this lady was hot!).

I didn't expect a lot of Hip-Hop fans there, 'cause I assumed that not a lot of Hip-Hop fans here in Belgium are aware of the fact that funk music is to be found at the basis of (West Coast) Hip-Hop. There were like 5 or 6 Hip-Hop cats there...and that was it! Out of I don't know how many people...the shit was practically sold out.

Well uhm, yeah...if you ever get a chance to see him live in concert, don't miss out! It's worth the money :)

yup, i got to see george clinton and the pfunk all stars perform at BB Kings live in new york times square, definitely top 3 show ive ever been to. #1 up in smoke, #2 powerhouse #3 geroge clinton.

shit was fucking dope. yeah we had no security either, because its not really a rap/hip hop concert, so they dont exepct young kids to be coming, and george clinton is more for the older crowds, so they dont expect anyone to be ruffin shit up..

but its dope to hear all the jams that you hear now being rehashed by all these artists, to hear them in original form performed by george and the click.
and its just so much better than a typical hip hop show, cos you got the entire band jammin lik,e no other.

i forgot Shock G showed up at the concert i went to too, so it was dope as hell.

yeah man, ive kinda grown tired of rap concerts. most performers aint got any sort of stage presence or energy at all.

commons good, and the roots are good..
no one else has really struck me out as a crazy performer.

I saw George Clinton perform at the Vault 350 in Long Beach a year ago. It's definitely something that needs to be experienced.
Being a LAKER is a privilige. Unfortunately some "Lakers" have forgotten that.
