I was listening to 4 pac albums today and ......

i thought 2 were Rubbish one was good and the other near classic.

Im not a pac fan at all but love lots of his tracks (Most of which are unreleased) but my friend wanted me to record 2pacs best stuff on to (2) Mini Disc for him. So i got hold of "MATW", Makaveli, AEOM and UTEOT, None of which i have heard in years.

So im going through all the albums to select his best songs and you know what. I barley filled a 74 minute MD up with 2pac tracks i considered to be good and so far i am STRUGGLING(sp) to fill another disc up.

Makaveli is amazing. 4.5/5

MATW is a good 4 mic album with some amazing joints.

BUT

UTEOT is the worst double cd in the history of hip hop, For gods sake the best track on there WAS UTEOT. (Although many of these tracks in there original form were and are amazing like "All out" Breathin, happy home etc original)
2 mics

AEOM, i haven't listened to this in year and its a average 2 cd album with good joints here and there but blah.
3 mics (maybe 3.5/5)

I've had to fill the 2nd cd with loads of unreleased tracks now like,

When Thugs cry (orig)
happy home (orig)
Pain
All out (orig)

And so on.

The moral of this story is......Erm......

his unreleased stuff which hasn't been tampered with is good.

UTEOT is not a Tupac album.

Period.

It's an Afeni album. Pac was died 5 years before Afeni had the idea to remix the track and to release the cd. The beats are wack (even if the lyrics are awesome), but you cant blame Tupac.

And about AEOM i agree it's not his best album (Makaveli & MATW are better IMO), but not 3 mics, c'mon...

If AEOM is a 3 mic.. then Snoop's Da Game is to be sold is -2 mics.

I agree with u about UTEOT, that album was totally bollox. But all eyez on me wasn't a bad album, u shud check out 'r u still down' that is a tite (double) album, i fuckin luv them RUSD cd's.

You ain't a big 2Pac fan, thats fair enough. But to me 3 of them are certified classics (MATW, Makaveli & AEOM). Sure UTEOT wasn't up to his usual standard but alot of the material featured was prolly not even supposed to be released. Me personally could fill many many CD-R's full of 'Pac material because I am a big fan. Atleast your honest though.

Are u crazy? All Eyez On Me is probably the second best Pac album besides Makaveli to me. There's tight ish all over that album with members from the original Death Row. Very good stuff on there such as Ambitionz Az A Ridah, How Do U Want It, 2 Of Amerika's Most Wanted, California Love, etc. Very nice tracks. Until the End of Time, I agree with you, it could have been better, but I still enjoyed the album.

in this movie, when they're about to do the tournament, pac is sayin twice, some shit like " where do ya'll wanna go , jamaica or las vegas " and thoses 2 city are very important in what people think about pac situation, he supposly died in las vegas , and he's supposly  living in jamaica or some, didn't ya'll find this wierd. dawm !

Oh and im 23, so i maybe wrong but i think i was around during the lows (when he started), high (deathrow) and death of Pac.

And personaly i'd never put AEOM in the top 30 best albums ever.

But hey thats just me.
