Ice-T said on Wednesday he is making his music available for purchase on the KaZaA service. HitsDailyDouble.co reports that under terms of the deal, Ice-T's new album, 'Repossession', will be available for $4.99 to KaZaA users through a secure platform for peer-to-peer services developed by Altnet.

just got the whole album from kazza, all the files are wma protected files tho..I tried to unprotect them using some cracks but didnt work..dope album overall

Ice got the right idea. no shady record labels, and he sells the shit for 4.99 on the internet, meaning he makes 4.99 from each one sold. no one else can download his shit without paying and he doesn't have to pay a shady high priced record exec or manager to release his music. this may be the future of music distribution. record labels have steadily been losing money since napster came around and this might be the one thing that will change it....fuck the labels

Yeah, I'd rather just buy it from the store and have the cover art and linear notes.
