3 1/2 mics

Production: Co-Stars, DJ Quik, J. Wells, Organized Noize and others.

"On "Young Roscoe: Philaphornia", Kurupt's rhyme-slingin' sibling deviated from the sonic path laid by his gang-bangin' predecessors. Instead, staying true to his bicoastal upbringing, 'Scoe hits the freeway and cleverly enlists ATL's Organized Noize to contrast his G'd up slanguistics. The resulting crunk-funk on the hard-hitting "What I Look Like" will surely find him some new customers down bottom. Yet Roscoe serves up equally potent cook-up when he hits the homegrown. DJ Quik's mulitlayered basslines give the mischievous "Get Flipped" added potency, as does the high-energy, Neptunes-esque "Nuthin' But Trouble", courtesy of local heatmaker J. Wells.

Roscoe's only problem may be trying to seperate his vocal delivery from the OG's namely his older brother Kurupt, whose flow and voice is often identical to his. Nevertheless, Roscoe's debut proves that although he is the new kid on the block, one day the block may be his."

hmmm..on WC Rydaz they said Ryan Ford was the reviewer, the guy from Contrabandit.com & Rhyme Night, and I dont get why Roscoe was only given 3 1/2 half mics. He deserved 4 Mics but then again its The Source so IM not surprised

For real. I'm not surprised that he only got 3 1/2 mics from the source. IMO, I think that it is a tight debut album. He deserved 4 Mics.
