Thats very true, but Jigga and Nas have been around a long ass time, hey so has Lil Kim if ya think bout it.The Wu have also been around a long time also, as a group and as individual artists they have garnered success, same can be said about Busta and Redman. But for longevity look at LL COOL J!!!!!
If there is any one thing (well we know it's more) that everyone around the country HAS to agree with, it is that West coast artists and producers have much more longevity than those from the East and South. Of the big rappers on the east from 10 years ago, who is still doin anything near the top of their game? Even tho Snoop Cube Dre DJ Quik and many others are nowhere near where they used to be, they are still the best at what they do. But lookin at all the big east coast acts from the 80s and early 90s, and half of em aren't even remembered. Even those who were the biggest like Run DMC (before JMJ passed) and KRS can't come with albums anywhere close to the level of what they did back in the 80s.
