Picture Of DJ Yella
« on: October 15, 2003, 11:58:14 AM »
<--------------------------

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

I got this pic from Big Saccs' forum. I dont understand what's with the hating......

^^ I remember a post of Ice Cube's childhood picture that everyone cared about. Another double standard.

If you don't care about a thread then why do you spend time responding to it? (Not just directed at you but everyone who does that)
