Is this a list of his favourite albums at the moment (of 2003), or is it his real list of his G.O.A.T.'s? Because I think there are a lot better albums that this and they're all from 2003 (don't know about "By The Way").

i bet it's true. those guys go on mtv and don't really think abou their answers. plus, i bet some of the people that go on mtv gotta give some 'mtv' answers too. i remember when eminem went up there and was pushin the latest 'pink' video...lol.
