Napoleon - Thug Scriptures!! Coming Soon
« on: January 30, 2004, 02:39:41 AM »
In April we will see one of the most under-rated albums of the year. This is going to be hot. A lot of hard work has been put into this and for the Outlaw fans - You've been waiting to hear an album like this. Only hearing a small proportion of the album. It sounds hot. The music on there is a good mix. the few have soft, cathy yet commercial appeal to them. I have faith that this will do well. A good distribution deal has been signed. Promotion will start early in March, a video for the first single "Fast Life" (with a b-side of Never Forget) will start next month. Patronise & Never foget are expected to be off already, but may appear as b-sides!!!
Johnny J covers about 85% and will be the second release from Klockwork Entertainment. More info on this release soon. Keep your eyes open for this 1

I honestly can't wait. I'm gonna pick this up as soon as I get back to Cali, and get to the mom and pop record stores 'cause I doubt they'll have it at Best Buy or Target in Minnesota. Maybe a place in Minneapolis, but that's too far., though it might be worth the drive if the snow is gone by then.

I posted about this a few weeks ago in Outbounds and no one responded.... Anyways this album looks promising.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
