What was your School era Westcoast shit?

Back in 92-96 when I was at High School my shit was Cypress Hill. Then I always bumped Thug Life, Masta Ace, Coolio's 95 album record with that "Too Hot" song, every morning waiting to catch the bus. Then the CMW, MC Eiht shit , of course "Str8 up menace".

I was never really into Cube/NWA

at primary school... Sugar Hill... Lovebug Starski..  'amityville.. the house on the hill'

at secondary school....  Eazy Duz It, Ice-T OG, Cube, EFIL4ZAGGIN... and errmm Kriss Kross.. jazzy jeff and the fresh prince...

college... cypress hill, doggystyle

(then i wandered off as a junglist for a year or two)

jr high - 2pac

primary : public enemy, nwa,sugar hill, grandmaster flash, bdp etc etc (yeah i know not fully west orientated)
secondary: LSOB, cypress hill, dre, cube, snoop, warren g, fushnickens etc etc

elementary school:  Dr. Dre, Snoop, Warren G, Eazy E, Ice Cube, a little Pac, LL Cool J, Slick Rick, Heavy D, De La Soul, Kane, Rakim
middle school:  Pac, WSC, Biggie
High School:  Dre, Snoop, Kurupt, Xzibit, Quik
College:  Dre, Tech N9ne, Hiero, Game, Daz, Likwit, Crooked I

Whatever I'm listening to now cause I'm still in High School.

But in Public School it was Run-DMC, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, Public Enemy & The Beastie Boys. I was bumping them on this tape my cousin made for me.

I got into rap when I was in 6th grade. From '95-'98, which was middle school, I bumped Pac, Westside Connection, Snoop, Dre, and Bone Thugs the most.

In high school, '99-'02, is when I really started gettin' into all kinds of Westcoast shit. I learned about Crooked I and Sly Boogy, got more into Ras Kass, got more into Daz and Kurupt, got into the Dago rap scene, etc.
