Man you gota be kidding me.

Im not even hating on 50, I like his album and his group, but "College Dropout" is far superior to "GRODT"....

The sound, the lyrics, the flow and the consistancy of the Kanye West album are all greater than 50's record.

If 50 didnt have help from Eminem, Dr. Dre, Nate and Snoop Dogg, he woulndt have been near as successful.

Now look at Kanye, does all his whole fuckin album with little guest spots, make every fuckin beat on the whole record!  Thats insane!  And the best part is he made an album the way HE wanted to, and created a sound that no one else is coming close to IMO....

I always thought Kanye wasn't the dopest lyricist with

"Awww, did he get his feelings hurt?
Nawww, he got titties under his shirt!"

or

"I'm the only one eating, shut your piehole!"

But his album was original. ;)
And it had a great feel to it.

But yeah, I liked 50's album too, but Kanye's album was so original and so fresh I just love it. 8)

 I Feel for You (1984)
· Epiphany: The Best of Chaka Khan, Volume One (1996)

LYRICS  I look in your eyes and I can see
We’ve loved so dangerously
You’re not trusting your heart to anyone
You tell me you’re gonna play it smart
We’re through before we start
But I believe that we’ve only just begun

When it’s this good, there’s no saying no
I want you so, I’m ready to go

Chorus:
Through the fire
To the limit, to the wall
For a chance to be with you
I’d gladly risk it all
Through the fire
Through whatever, come what may
For a chance at loving you
I’d take it all the way
Right down to the wire
Even through the fire

I know you’re afraid of what you feel
You still need time to heal
And I can help if you’ll only let me try
You touch me and something in me knew
What I could have with you
Well I’m not ready to kiss that dream goodbye

When it’s this sweet, there’s no saying no
I need you so, I’m ready to go

Chorus

Through the test of time

Chorus

Through the fire, to the limit
Through the fire, through whatever
Through the fire, to the limit
Through the fire, through whatever

We are not comparing the albums.

I'm just pointing out that College Dropout is an ok album but not classic.

Another thing, please dont tell me 50 Cent woulndt get outrapped by Talib, Common and JayZ..... ::)

Actually I honestly think Kanye held his own with those guys.  On the song with Talib and Common, It was a concept type song where each rapper played a part and went along with the story lines, so they werent really trying to showcase there skills....As far as the song with JayZ goes, Kanye held his own IMO.

What's worse is getting out rapped by Lloyd Banks. LOL! Jigger, Kweli and Common are 3 ACCOMPLISHED LYRICISTS. It's an honor to rap with them. Lloyd Banks is a boring version of Fabolous. You're funny.

Please man. Release the dick, 50 has enough cock jockies. Kanye may not be too complex, but he has a meaning behind his lyrics. Something 50 doesn't. Kanye is far from wack, lyrically. Listen to "Jesus Walks," "All Falls Down," "Never Let Me Down," Kanye spits some crazy shit. Kanye is a rapper first, and he's still years ahead of 50. Ain't that sad.

Not a classic or even perfect album, but much better than ANYTHING 50 has done.

I dug the production on Kanyeezy's album, too. It varied, unlike 50's. Post up some lyrics from 50 since you SWEAR that he has amazing lyrics.
