Does The West Coast Hate Biggie ?

since its his anniversy n shit and theres alot of westcoast heads up in here i was just wondering I remember hearing when Biggie got killed niggas on the west were happy there were celebrating partying it up saying it was justice for Pac does he get as much hate as Pac does from nyc niggas ?

exactly. he was a good rapper and all...but the greatest? muthafuckaz be smoking on crack. maybe if he put out like 3-4 more classic albums...maybe i'll consider him as one of the greatest...but that never happend..

LOL, well from the replies to this thread, I'd say the answer to your question is YES, the west coast hates biggie.  I don't, I think he was great.

I never actually felt anything from biggie....IMO he was never one of the greatest and am always amused when people say he was......

Truth be said, I heard more of him on PAC disses and after he died than from him personally while he was alive....

Almost anyone who hates Biggie DOES NOT represent the West Coast, the rep the legions of Pac dickriders who think it's cool to hate anyone who Pac did. Big = Pac. Always has been, always will be.

Ignore these posts....the west does not at all hate biggie. As the last dude said, the only people who hate biggie are the ones who are pac dickriders. I think Pac is better, and so does 70-80% of everybody else in L.A. that I know, but most of us don't hate Biggie at all, we just don't like him as much as the old Cube, Snoop, Pac, etc.

biggie is dope, I used to hate him when I was young and dumb, but when I pulled my head outta my ass I realized the great talent he had.  The GOAT?  no, but still a great rapper.  RIP.

Possibly, but considering the man who's name was on the release - hmmm I don't think so. That's like me building a car from designs and measurements I've stole of a friend and giving him no credit or money.

Word.  Big would spit a line that made you think.  He was talking about 2 or 3 different things and meanings with one line.  He was on another level thats for sure.

How did he steal Pac's concept? Don't give me the story about Pac having to change Me Against The World becuase Biggie heard it and then made his album in the same vein. And looking at it that Biggie song you mentioned was actually more west coast sounding than anything Pac had done up til that time.
