Some questions/thoughts about Dogg Food???

  Why wasnt Warren on the cd version of Lets Play House???

  Is it true that Daz used NO SAMPLES on the disc?  Big props if true......

 


   when this cd came out, i was MAD DISAPPOINTED, completely!!!!  I mean, all that had came out on death row at this time was chronic, doggystyle, mwtc(best sdtrk ever), and Above the rim.  I was expecting Dogg food to be on the level of Doggystyle or Chronic, or even MWTC, but it just did not have any true hits on it, although i came to appreciate the cd and consider it a classic nevertheless.

Still, imagine it with Niggaz and Bitches, What Would U Do, and U Cant C me!!!

You would have an amzing cd, take off those bullshit song like If We All Fucc, and Do What i Feel and you have gotta a CLASSIC

yeah thats what deathrow allways did ...i mean...take some of the best tracks and use them for soundtracks and shit....thats why we love mwtc etc .... 8)

naw the album isnt sample free, but it aint filled with jacked shit either......for one I DONT LIKE TO DREAM ABOUT GETTIN PAID is sampled from an old lionel richie song, the song is in the booklet...


and I agree with you sayin that they shudda kept of bullshit songs like "bomb azz pussy" and "if we all fucc" and replaced it with the hard shit with kurupt flowin raw

........but hey this is still a classic 8)

the album was and is still a dope LP IMO. songs like respect, lets play house, ny ny, smooth, i dont like to dream...., do what i feel were dope as fuck and all the beats were great. itz a shame that they only released one single (lets play house, but wit 3 differnet covers...lol). there was a vid to ny ny too but no single out. i bump the respect instrumental in my ride from time to time.... off the chain.

I love "If We All Fucc" and "Bomb Azz Pussy".  I think I like every song on the album.  It's one of my all-time favourites.

Dogg Food is better than Murder Was The Case.



I wouldn't call it a classic either.

yeah I agree.  and warren g wasn't on the cd most likely cuz suge hated him.  he also wouldn't let the dogg pound be on his album.
