If so, then it's wrong to say only 2 gold albums in 2002 for the West. If statistics and sales really matter, then it's 2 gold albums and a triple-platinum album. Dead or alive, it doesnt matter: Pac still screams Westside in half of the tracks of Better Dayz so he IS Westside. Or am i wrong?

Alive rappers? Only Dre and Master P can sell in the West (or not-East). Snoop sold a lot with them. And he sold NOTHING without them. A provocation? Maybe. The truth? Yes.

are you on crack? let me break this down for you:

doggystyle- dre overlooking snoops best album by far 5 or 6 times plat

doggfather- no dre at all snoop is goes double plat

da game is to be told- master p in charge and snoop makes his worst album by far, it goes 2x plat but gets terrible reviews

top dogg- under no limit, but very little influence from master p snoop basically calls the shots on it, goes plat

eastsidaz- snoop is in charge and is in the group, goes plat no dre or p

last meal- 2x plat, with no p influence snoop lets him be on a song, but master p has no influence on the project it's snoop he claims doggystyle throughout

paid da cost- snoops in charge makes some bad decisions, but will still most likely go plat

........as you see dre was in charge once and obviously helped alot, p was really in charge only once and ruined snoops album the others put out on no limit had little to do with p, and were the only listenable things coming out on no limit

doggfather

I am not on crack. You said nothing different than what i did, really. I never wrote Master P's productions made Snoop's albums classics. And i never wrote Dre's productions made Snoop's albums classics (even if in this case it's true). We was talking about "promotion". I just wrote that, without Master P (i mean No Limit) and Dr. Dre (i mean Death Row, not Aftermath) Snoop Dogg has never made a platinum album. And that's nothing but the truth, so asking me if i am on crack really doesnt have sense.

Talking about The Doggfather, yes it went 2x platinum and Dre didnt produce it. But if the theme of the discussions is "how well the album sold", then it was been easly the biggest disappointment ever. Just consider Death Row was at the top of promotion in 1996 and that Snoop's previous (and only) album was been probably the best one ever (so he had all eyez on him). And consider that 2Pac used his chance in the best way possible, by going 9x platinum (certified on June 18, 1998. But i've heard it's a diamond album now. 10x sold, certified in 2002) with All Eyez On Me and 4x platinum (certified on June 15, 1999) with Makaveli. In 1996, man. The same year Snoop released Tha Doggfather. So?

Sad...
I kno. "Numbers" are really sad sometimes. But the saddest thing is people who doesnt read posts right and make comments like this one. People with 10x platinum posts and -21 karma, i mean. Maybe there's a reason.

alright i see what your saying now but you didn't explain yourself in your other post, i totally agree with you that snoop doesn't know how to promote his shit no doubt, he picks terrible singles all the time, i thought you were talking about the making of the albums and shit

snoops album was fuckin dope i dunno what everyone was complainin about

iraq would just get annexed by iran

That would be a great solution.  If Iran and the majority of Iraqi's are pleased with it, then why shouldn't they do it?
