Someone could also decide to keep it for himself and then you'd never hear ANYTHING from the song. Also if the whole song leaks (too early), 95% chance it won't get released.

if i don't know it exists than i won't want it. i thought that was common sense. you don't see people saying "yo i want that 2pac, ice cube and crooked i song produced by dj quik with nate and butch cassidy on the hook.......cause there's no such thing.

if it gets released early and doesn't make the cd....oh well then we'll get a different song on the cd which may or may not be better than the one we have. it's not like if we get 6 songs early they're just gonna cut out those 6 songs and give us a cd with 5 songs on it (unless you're knoc-turn'al)

last thing i'm gonna say about this is.....if you own a website ex: dubcnn, westcoast2k, etc... then i agree you shouldn't give out whole songs without permission....or if you know the rapper personally

but the rest of you people that happen across it by chance and download it and you don't share it, you're just trying to get some cheap power trip...and you make people ask for it you're not making friends, they're gonna d/l it from you and still think you're a cock sucker....

so if you don't own a (main) site you shouldn't keep anything for yourself?

why do you feel you need to be the only one with a copy of the song?

1. you're not gonna get sued if you leak it correctly so don't say shit about the law....

2. if you have a hot song people are still going to buy the cd. leaking a hot song does nothing to sales

3. if you post a snippet and have the whole song and you don't have a website, or don't know the artist personally, you just want attention, which is pretty damn sad

so tell me, what kind of kicks do you get from owning a song that no one else has? you can't say how good it is cause no one else heard it and no one else knows it exists....

Mike dean himself gave WC Rydaz a snippet of the song to post up.

Now.. since Mike dean is the person that produced it for nate, and that he's getting paid for it you think he's gonna leak that shit? hell no.

He's doing what this shits supposed to be about, he's promoting himself + the artist he's done work for.


So quit bitching coz acting like a fuckin baby and crying about not having the full thing coz is gonna get u nowhere, and to be honest with an attitude like that people will leave you the fuck alone anyways. check yourself.

I know for a fact that some of the sites mentioned in these posts have shit you would cream your pants over.. but they're under trust.. you wont get anywhere in this game if people dont trust you. and like someone pointed out above.. if u dont know what exists you're better off until 'its time'.

Yeah what Overseer said....and plus, if people leak a full song long time before the cd drops it gets old & played out real quik, and you aint gonna bump it as much as if it was new...a perfect example is Hi-C's "let Me know" or "do it"...let me know been out for more than a year and do it for more than 6 months. people played them so much they wont sound new when the cd drops next Tuesday...But, if they would have leaked a snippet, lets say without the quik verse or somthing, people would be hyped cause there is something to look out for. they heard the song but not the full thing, so they want more. Hope that made sense
