def. 50 cent. i never really understood why jay z was considered that dope either. some people i just don't understand why they're hot. when 50 first came out he was shit. no one paid any attention. but now that he's got dre and em, he's hot.

If u respect Too Short, E4o and Others because they are "West Coast Legends" I dont see why y'all hate on Snoop

all other west coast artists are over-rated

^^^Ras Kass is overrated and The Game ain't?

G-Unit are aight but overrated, same for 50
The Game IS kinda overrated IMO
Too $hort's overrated as an MC, but he makes dope songs

I still like Lloyd Banks but i never really bump his shit honestly i just like some of his punches that's about it... and yes alot of west coast rappers are overrated but that goes for every coast... the entire south is overrated cept for like 5 rappers... the rest are wack as fuck...

im trying to make a point ;)...i don't really think every westcoast artist is over-rated...but people on this thread are just putting down artists they hate(or are on the other side of the continent) and calling them overrated

yeah, but if u hate (listening to) an artist it's only logical u call him overrated...and several members on here bein kinda biased is obvious, but it's the West Coast Connection forum, so unless sumbody drops real ignorant statements u can't really complain IMO

there's far more than 5. What's been gettin airplay lately is that crunk shit which is mostly low quality as for lyrics. Lil Jon, Bonecrusher, Chingy (IF u cpnsider that south), they might be overrated, but they only represent one southern style

Outkast, Goodie Mob, David Banner, Scarface, Dungeon Family, Cunninlynguists, 8ball...I wouldn't say they wack
