lol, how messed up is this thread. i hate ignorant yanks who know shit about 'soccer' and always critisize it. tossers.

the awards were the right decisions imo.
henry has scored 22 league goals this season. he could have his own goal of the season competition, is the leading assister in europe (i think ;)) and has been by far the most skillful and entertainig player this year. and the other players love him, the amount of times players have asked for his shirt after a game is testiment to his reputation.

van wonfuckall has also had a great season, 40 goals is a great achievement. hes scored some good ones aswell, but as many in henrys class.
also he has the reputation for being a cheating, diving, moaning, ugly prick.

Jenas also deserved his award.
rooney has had a good season, but he is surrounded by hype.its a credit to the lad what hes done at his age, but hes not been consistently brilliant throught out the year, and at times very ordinary.
o'shea should have come second(he may have done, i dont know) this guy has great talent, by far the mancs best defenfer.hes one of a very few mancs id have at the arse.

He is an out and out striker, I couldn't give a fuck where he scores from and how he scores them.  Although his goal vs Fulham was better than any Henry goal this season.

Henry moans more than Ruud, he is very arrogant, Ruud doesn't dive any more, you want to talk about diving and playacting?  Keown, Pires, Jeffers etc.

And Rio is our best defender, O'Shea is amazing going forward but has struggled in central defence

What? Henry's goals against Spurs (similar except from further away) and West Ham were much better (theres more but he's scored so many), plus Ruud elbowed Legwinski in the face at the start of it, something that went unpunished, along with his elbow on Lauren in the FA Cup.

Thierry deserved his award, he's your favourite player's favourite player.

lol, rubbish.
his goal verus tottenham at home, ran the length of the pitch, turned three defenders inside out, and smashed it past keller with his left foot.
or his goal against verus west ham at upton park, span past his marker and half volley into the top corner.
both FAR superior to his goal which by the way would have been stuied time and time again on that disgrace of a programme the premiership if scored by an arsenal player, and the elbow would have been splashed on all the back pages.

he burned of etherington, then turned carr and whatever bag of shit centre back they had, richards or king i think inside out and then buried it.
