the numbers just don't add up.  even on a budget $7500 isn't going to last two months.  is gonz going to sell another album on ebay next month?

is the independent game that weak that gonz can't make $7500 throwing the album up on rapbay or something?  dude can't even do a show or something to raise that type of money?

7500 is the starting bid silly.... he's expecting it to climb...

Am I wrong or was there no tracklist/guest list..   This could be some shitty thing he puts together with a bunch of crappy solos, possible, no?

it most definitely is a shitty thing hes putting together. if it was a good product it wouldnt be on ebay haha. he obviously doesnt have faith in his own product to sell.

If you copped this shit at $7,500, you still have to press them up and can cost at the very least another G. You'd have to sell at least 1,000 records at $8 just to make your money back. And, unfortunately, I don't know 1,000 people who like Gonzoe. He says there's 15 songs, you'd have to sell them seperately to different artists for at least $200 to see some money. Obviously, if the songs were that hot, he'd be pushing it to a label, since he's not, it makes you think: "How wack are these songs?"

gonzoe's album wouldn't sell enought for you to even recoup. you'd be losing money buying the rights for 7 gs.

hes just like Caz. the guy has ZERO fan base in his own city. what does that say?

im pretty sure he'd make more money working a day job then being a rapper.

it didn't climb.  dude should have put a reserve on it if he thought it would climb.

this shit is worse than broke.  this shit is a disaster.

dude has an album complete and can't get an advance or whatever from a label and get the shit out?

dude can't release this shit independent?  if 1500 people buy the album at $10, and he only makes $5 per cd...

$7500???  that's nothing.

how did he pay for the album?  how did he pay producers?

is this for real, or is someone trying to clown gonz with a fake ass auction?

From what I have heard, thats not an auction that was put up by Gonzoe. It was put up by the guy who bought the rights to the record from him. Gonzoe supposedly recorded all 15 tracks in 6 hours and sold the masters to this guy for 10 racks. 10 racks for 6 hours of work is pretty good, especially when this record probably wouldnt have made him 10 racks in the first place if he were to just sell the record independent. Its funny that auction page is trying to paint a picture of gonzoe as some type of rap legend. Yeah he's done some notable things, but he aint nothin close to a legend. Legends have real impact. Gonzoe is just some dude that was around some legendary people a lot.
