In my opinion words like conservative and liberal are meaningless because there's not just the two. There's neo-lib and neo-cons, libertarians, socialist, etc.... It all comes down to specific policy. Eg. I just voted for a party in my country which I didn't agree with all the policies, and that's ok because no party is all things to all people. Some aspects might be liberal, conservative, etc.. and they're just words.
