mistake me if im wrong, but when i was in school and in one of the few Religious Education lessons we were told:

if you mention mohammed, you have to say "Peace Be Upon Him"

and if we mentioned him in an essay we had to write "PBUH" or some shit like that?

is that still the done thing?

Muslims actually do that for ALL the prophets.

and responding to your question Jip, it's your choice whether you'd like to or not, i don't think you're muslim so i wouldnt expect you to write (PBUH) after mentioning the prophets name.

SUNNI, OR WAHABBI

The Taliban wasn't Wahabi, there's a misconception about that in the media.  The Saudi's are the government that promotes the Wahabi/Salafi movement.  The Wahabi's fought against the Kaliphate of the Ottoman Empire.  After the Ottoman fell in WW1, Britian and America installed the Saudi's as their puppet government of the Arabian penninsula.

Usama Bin Laden harshly critisized the Saudi's for allowing America to biuld military bases in Arabia as a launchpad for U.S. attacks on Muslims.  The Saudi's kicked Usama out of the country and revoked his citizenship.  The Taliban does not follow the same kind of thinking as the Saudi's, and they gave Usama refuge their country.

I wouldnt go as far as to say the Taliban were Wahhabi, however they were Wahhabi influenced.

The Taliban were most associated with the Deobandi movement, more rigid and literal form of sunni islam, similiar to the Salafis.

Either way, they were alot more extremist than your average Hanafi Sunni Afghan.
"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

Or you don't want to talk about the division between Muslims beacuse you don't want to admit Islam isn't perfect. Just like any other religon.

That's the wrong assumption.  Islam is perfect.  In the Qu'ran, Allah tells us he has perfected our religion.  The Qu'ran is our highest book of authority.  It is because of the Qu'ran that I am a Muslim.

The divisions amongst Muslims are not as a result of the Qu'ran, but rather the differences have developed over issues such as; who should have taken leadership after the Prophet Muhammad, and over sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad and his companions.  The Prophet Muhammad and his companions were just men like you and I.  They made mistakes just like you and I make mistakes.

What made Muhammad a Prophet and Messenger was the inspiration he recieved from Allah; and it is contained in the Noble Qu'ran.  Muhammad's own thoughts and ideas are not in the Qu'ran, those are recorded in what is called Hadith and Sunnah.  Muslims differ over Hadith and Sunnah.  But Muslims do not dispute over the Qu'ran.  The Qu'ran is free from any contradiction, it is a confirmation of past revelations, it's an analysis on all things, and it is a giudance and mercy to those who believe.

yo islam aint perfect, in fact it's one of the worst religion because most of the muslim dont understand they're own religion, i always hear that islam is a religion of non violence and shit and islamic people are the most violent people on earth. If this religion was perfect, i think everybody would be muslim and the world would be in peace

Malcolm X explained it very clearly:  "A Muslim is non-violent with people who are non-violent with us.  But a Muslim is not non-violent with anyone who is violent with us."

Allah teaches Muslims in the Noble Qu'ran...

2:190- You may fight in the cause of GOD against those who attack you, but do not aggress. GOD does not love the aggressors.

2:193- You may also fight them to eliminate oppression, and to worship GOD freely. If they refrain, you shall not aggress; aggression is permitted only against the aggressors.

...as for Muslims being the most violent people in the world, nobody can compare to George Bush's (a born again Christian) death toll that is running at nearly a half a million people and he's only been president for 5 years.  Also, America Christians caused more destruction in World War 2 then any nation ever has, I'm sure your familiar with the weapons of mass destruction that were dropped on Japan.  Christians also commited genocide against the Native American Indians when the came to this country.

...must I continue?  Look at any website on statistics of death tolls, Christians have killed the most, and Bush's biggest support group for his wars in Iraq and Afganistan was the Christian right, and those wars have killed 100's of thousands of people.  Bush is currently using chemical warfare in Iraq, as of right now.  Bush has also enforced economic sanctions and embargo's that have starved children around the world.

You see this is a perfect example of what Said referred to as orientalism

Basically, the power structures brought upon by colonialisms legacy has been so thoroughly engrained into the mind of the West that they dont recognize the true effects of it, or they subconciously espouse beliefs tinged with racism.

its laughable to this faggot...oh the west did everything to u...what an ignorant statement....ure constantly reaffirming your stupidity to us...
hit after hit...wave after wave of stupidity....

youre consistent cheef, ill give u that
