I always wonder, how do picks who are that low end up slipping that far in the draft, like Mike Redd, Jason Williams, Nick Van Exel?

I would assume that many of them may have had problems in college as far as their attitude, and some of them just ended up at the wrong school or behind the wrong player. Many of them probably do realize that they have to work 5 times as hard to prove themselves since they are so low in the draft. But damn, I look at some drafts and see who was picked over who, and even though I am not a scout, it still baffles me from time to time.
