i wonder how Killings and Cena will get along (they got into a small confrontation a few months back, nothing major happened though).

hopefully the wont make Killings and Harris into jobbers or anything.

The WCCWL is always looking for new members; take a chance at becoming a champ!! PM Mo Z. Dizzle if interested!!

Them Old school UWF Episodes on ESPN Classic are the shit..

"Mem’ries,
Like the corners of my mind
Misty water-colored memories

Wrestling when it was simple.

Very true.... I watched a match last night between Dr. Death Steve Williams & Paul Orndorff that was great in every way, except there wasn't a clean finish. It was still good to see...

TNA is actually becoming entertaining to watch... Wanting to bone the hell out of Karen Angle helps too...

I think that some of their storylines are better in that they are somewhat cohesive and understandable.  However, I had the chance to go to one of their houseshows at the end of Dec. and noticed that the quality of the wrestling was horrible.  Most of the matches were under 5-7 minutes and some of the spots were messed up, especially with the X division 3-way.  Even the Angle-Cage main event was not up to par.

I'll still watch Impact whenever I can, but I don't know if I'll drop $90 on a houseshow ticket again.

I try hard to watch Impact whenever I got the time. It doesn't captivate me. It's not the production quality either because it's great. The OG ECW had shitty production, but I was able to watch their shows from start to finish. I think it's the fact that they just try too hard to be WWE, but they suck at it.

You dropped $90 for TNA tickets? I dig the show and all, but I'd hardly be willing to pay that for a WWE show let alone a TNA one.

Yeah, that's how much floor tickets were for the show.  I guess since they're run by independent promoters the tickets can get pretty pricey.  That's probably why there were less than 1,000 people there.  TNA charge for everything...... autographs were $5 and the wrestler (Tomko) couldn't give less of a shit about the fans that night.  Polaroids with Angle were $20.  At least WWE always give free autographs.

I know that $90 is kind of crazy, but I thought that it would be cool to see the first house show here.  Plus, who knows when they would have come back.  Usually the WWE house shows here run about $60 for a floor ticket.

I've got no problem paying for a good show.  I paid $400 for front row at Summerslam 2004 and $200 for 4th row at Unforgiven 2006.  I don't remember how much I had to pay for floors at Wrestlemania XX, but the whole package ran $1700.

Jesus... charging for autographs at a show? However, the only one's I would want anyway would be Angle's or Sting's.

A Wrestlemania would be nice for the experience. I've just grown too accustomed to watching wrestling in the nice comfort of my home. No idiots with signs blocking your view and no morons screaming in your ears. Ya know...

The Kurt Angle pic game with an autographed frame, but he wasn't actually signing stuff when you got your picture taken.

I've always loved getting autographs but hate having to pay for them.  I've gotten tons of them for free through WWE signings: Cena, Orton, Edge, Batista, Benoit, Booker, Eddie Guerrero, Mysterio, Bischoff.......

Actually, the only time I haven't had to pay is when it's done through WWE.  Most washed up veterans charge $10-15 for an autograph as I found out with Honky Tonk Man, Jim "Anvil" Neidhart, Kamala, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, & Koko B. Ware.  Only Hacksaw was signing stuff for free.  (This was about 3 years ago, before he came back to WWE.)

Maybe the worst experience was in December when Bret Hart came to town to sign at a bookstore.  If you wanted to meet him, you had to buy a copy of his book for $40 and he was only guaranteeing to sign for 50 people.  So many people got screwed because they came with books that they'd already bought.  This guy was my favourite wrestler when I was a kid, and was glad to finally meet him.  However, he couldn't have been less interested in the people who were there.  He kept his head down and didn't say a word to anybody.

Damn. Bret is a scumbag for that. And LOL @ all of those old farts charging for autographs, especially Koko B. Ware! He's in the same league as the Brooklyn Brawler.

Breaking News: Former Multi-Time WWE Champion To Return

Written by: Ryan Gray - January 13th, 2008

Multi-time WWE Champion Paul “Big Show” Wight has either signed a new contract with World Wrestling Entertainment or has agreed to a new deal, reports Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Big Show should be returning to WWE television programming very soon.

Big Show has lost a tremendous amount of weight since leaving WWE as he is down to 440 lbs. The former champion decided he needed sometime off and wanted to pursue a possible boxing career. He began a vigorous training routine to get his body into shape as Hulk Hogan was his “front man” acting as his manager. With Hogan managing him, a lot of big-time boxing promoters were interested in him learning the sport, but his plans ultimately fell through when he realized at his age, boxing would not be the right decision. There was also some talk of Big Show doing a wrestling tour with Hogan, but discussion in that direction has seemed too have stopped.

Lately, both WWE and TNA have been kinda lackluster, especially TNA. On the Raw side of things, there's been some decent stuff lately with Jeff Hardy's buildup towards the Rumble. I was able to get tickets for that, which I'm amped about. I've been to over 15 house shows and the Raw\SNME show last summer, but this is my 1st PPV. I'm hoping Edge and Mysterio deliver a good match and the Rumble match itself should be interesting.
