Now there's this new cat (well, some people try to say he ain't new, but whatever) his name is Lupe Fiasco.  And it just so happens he's the best rapper to come along in quite a while.  Not only that, he's gonna blow up, this dude ain't stayin underground, he's about to be bangin on TRL, just watch, you'll see.  Even skateboarders are feelin him.  This dude is gonna blow up.  Kind of reminds me of Nas how smooth he sounds, suprise again, although Nas ain't Muslim he has extremely heavy Islamic influences, his father is a Muslim, gave him a Muslim name "Nasr" (Check the last chapter of the Qu'ran- and the 5th to last, he's named after it), check out Ice Cube, yep, Ice Cube is a Muslim, need I go on?  Check out the fathers of hip-hop you know the Zulu Nation represented Pan Islam, one of their members names is Afrika Islam, yeah ya'll peeped the interview I know, anyway, look at H. Rap Brown he was rappin in the 60's, today he's Imam Jamil Al Amin leader of Muslim all over the United States.  Look at the Lost Poets they coined the phrase "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised", Chuck D is a Muslim too, for your information.  Yep, Mos Def has as much credibility as any rapper in the game, you guess it, he's a Muslim too.  Next, we got Rakim, the rappers rapper, the rapper who influenced all the other rappers, and yes, his influence was no doubt Islam.  Read the Qu'ran, the Qu'ran read in Arabic is more lyrical (rhyme, rythym) than anything any rapper or poet could create, that's why it's been protected throughout the centuries cause so many people have memorized it and would notice even the slightest letter being missed.  I could go on forever, but check it, Lupe Fiasco is the future, Islam is the future, ya'll better catch up or get left behind!

most rappers turned muslim were actually christians that switched religions once they got into music. and it´s funny as hell to see some of those rappers talk about what christian europeans did to blacks without mentioning what arab muslims did to blacks in Africa lol.
