it was a groin injury he suffered at a house show.....i think they were just being pre-cautious for this week to let it heal up a bit

I just saw ecw for this week, what a train wreck. So many botch manoeuvers in the Main event.
couple of points.
Big show dosent make a good champion in my opinion. He is better when he a heel chasing.
The characters suck. Mike knox?Test? common
Why was Mick Foley and Ric Flair on there?
This show was atrainwreck.

hopefully they don;t make Sandman and Dreamer job to Knox and Test, but that isnt too likely.

i wonder  what happened to Funk, he's listed on the roster page but hasn't been on the show since it's re-debut if i recall correctly.

oh btw, Kurt Angle has a torn groin muscle, so he's going to be not wrestling for a while; sucks for him and ECW; he might not be an original, but he's one of the main stars of the show.

not sure if anyone read this, but ECW got re-signed on the Sci-Fi network for another year.
this will allow to start forming better storylines (or so they say).

Balls Mahoney and Ryan O'Reilly have violated the drug policy. O'Reilly is w/ Deep South Wrestlnig and was wrestling in a tag team at ECW house shows; he ahs been suspended for 30 days. Mahoney will not be suspended, but will not get paid for 30 days except for road expenses and will not appear at any house shows as part of the new agreement of the treatment program.

Brad Armstrong (used to appear on WCW Saturday Night shows) has been signed to a contrract and is expected to wrestle for ECW, only at house shows though. He is 45 years old and is expected to help put over the younger guys.

Justin Credible is in a lot of heat because he no-showed last week's taping or the week before's taping and didn't call in. No reason is known yet for the no-show. He also didn't appear at any house shows this weekend.
