Do you think Lippi wil go with Toni from the start?

I don't have a clue, at the moment. But i think he'll use the same team who defeated Germany.

Toni's contribution was terrible last game, he failed to hold up play at all.

I still think Lippi will use him from the start, and introduce Gilardino later.

I don't understand one thing... why Lippi doesn't introduce Gilardino from the start and then Toni.. u know with his physical power (and with defenders tired), he would make much more damage in this situation imo

I think he prefers to do the total opposite.. use Toni to beat up the defenders physically, and use Gilardino as he has a bit more pace, and bit more quality on the ball.

I still think Gilardino is the more complete forward, but I can appreciate why Lippi would start with Toni.

The main thing is Toni needs to really up his game on Sunday, he MUST hold onto that football.

yep true... imo it's more down to Pirlo than Totti , he hasn't impressed me at all, when Pirlo always did the good choice, pass in this WC

My dream: Del Piero to score. That would be maybe more emotional that Zizou scoring for you. I mean you know what we're up to in these days. Del Piero deserves to win a WC by scoring the only goal. He deserves that.

It's the italian press. They're located in Rome, and Totti is Rome's most important guy (more than politicians and the Pope, lol).
They dickride him to the fullest.
He was a disappointment in this WC (and in the previous one, and in the European in Portugal, lol), but the press is saying he's the hero. wtf?

But 90% of italians hate on Totti for this reason.
