Juventus relegated to Serie B

Friday, 14 July 11:11 BST

Italian giants Juventus have been relegated to Serie B along with Fiorentina and Lazio, according to breaking reports from Italy.

AC Milan will remain in Serie A, but will not be allowed compete in the Champions League next season.

As well as being relegated to the second division, Juventus will also start the season with a 15 point deduction. The outcome is mixed for the Old Lady of Italian football, after FIGC prosecutor Stefano Palazzi had called for them to be relegated to Serie C.

The most surprising news is that Lazio and Fiorentina will also be relegated to Serie B and will be docked 6-7 points each.

AC Milan got off lightly. The Rossaneri will remain in Serie A but will not be able to compete in European competition next season. A similar European ban will be imposed on Fiorentina and Juventus.

Not quite sure if this is completely official yet....

Personally, I think it'll be smth like this:

Milan and Lazio remain in A, no European comp.

Fiorentina in Serie B with about -3pt start.
Juventus in Serie B with about -12pt start.

how many teams are there in serie b....coz if this is true, it could be hard for them to get promoted with -15 :(

UPDATE

Serie A sides Juventus, Lazio and Fiorentina have been demoted to the second division for their involvement in Italy's match-fixing scandal.

Juventus have been stripped of their last two league titles.  :yikes:

HAHAHAH YES!!! Im sorry for the homie Antonio and all, but I just love that them cheaters got fucked now, since other teams hopefully don't dare to do the same... an example had to be set.

I'm not too sure about them not going to Serie C. Honestly. Of course, if the roster stays like it is, they won't go to Serie C even with -30. But I expect most players or even every decent player to leave, which could result in them not being able to stay in Serie B.

harsh but well deserved punishment handed out to the teams.like 7 said an example needed to be set and this will leave huge implications left on the future of these clubs.
