Sup all,
as ive noticed similar Q's on here thought i;d ask my own...
...going to Memphis Tn for a few days next June ... staying right on Beale St

Im  hyped up cos i love soul and the blues and there are already a few ideas i have on some thing to do

(just love that soul food), know of a couple bars want to visit, blues / soul museum, want to see a paddle boat on mississippi (cheesy i know), etc etc

but looking for more ideas if anyone has any, ie clubs, live music bars etc

dayum couple of hiphop artists from round the way id love to see but not sure what live acts will be playing then as music festival is in May


so if you can please drop a line

BTW Memphis ideas are ideal as not going to be there long but open to other suggestions for Tennessee,  ie nashville, whatever...
...wish i could stay longer as so many places id love to go like georgia, mississippi, louisiana, alabama
(list goes on lmao) but think the travelling time on this one wont be worth it

haha no sorry its just thats what EVERYONE has said "you going to graceland"...
...well truth be told might hit it up for ten mins...not interested in the whole Elvis tour of his life that you can take ie where he went to school, first burger bar he went to etc etc but i might go to graceland just to take ONE pic..... of me sitting on his loo, smiling with one of those enormous big mac type things (with my fingers up)

sorry am i being thick....album...do u mean paul simon...yes i have it i meant that most people over here think Tn = Elvis n nothing else, historically or musically
 theres so much richness (past n presentn future) in those states that people are ignorant of...(and by richness i dont mean financial,i mean history, culture, music, art etc lol)

Yeah thanks bro, already got that one down (plus the Gibson factory and the museum attached to it...lol even tho going all that way still gonna be saving a grand on the price of a les paul and thats with paying for the holiday  nearly 3 grand for a left handed one over here, whereas only about £900 for one straight from there!
