To anyone who is saying 50 aitn lyrical anymore:

Just to name a few after GRODT dropped:

Massacre: This Is 50, In My Hood, Im Suppoused To Die Tonight, Outta Control, Get In My Car, Ski Mask Way, Baltimore Love Thing, Ryder Music, Gunz Come Out, Toy Soldier, Position Of Power, God Gave Me Style, I Dont Need Em.

GRODT OST: Hustlers Ambition, You Already Know. Talk About Me, When It Rains It Pours, Ill Whip Ya Head.

Encore: Never Enough

Documentary: Hate It Or Love It, How We Do

Str8 Outta Cashville: Bonafide Hustler

Yayo: We Dont Give A Fuck

Banks: Warrior part 2

Mobb Deep: Creep, Pearly Gates

I never understand why people trying to convince one another that a rapper sucks/rocks.. It's all a matter of opinions, not facts.

I couldnt agree more. I'd rather listen to Game than E40 because I like his style more. Even thoguh E40 is better lyrically.

But when it comes to lyrics there can be no subjective opinions. You can just read the lyrics without the beat and you have a fact who is better.

Thats why I never disagree with someone who says he likes Game better than 50. But when people say 50 sucks lyrically and that Game is better then I gotta say something.

50 cent was tight pre 2003, since then  ::)

He can still come tight sometimes but he aint consistent like Game, and dont give me cuz he doesnt wanna be good its all about the money, 50 could do lyrical songs all day. make a few with catchy hooks, and still sell 5 mill, but he lyrically aint what he used to be, thats why you get what you get from 50. Even the songs where tries to spit hard he comes up Short...Game>50 anyday of the week. All 50 has on Game is Hooks, so ill give him something

Hook artist...

Yea 50 is def better w/ hooks no question.  Lyrically though I think Game would beat 50 pretty easily right now, back a few years ago 50 was real dope and he knew how to freestyle very well but now in 2006 I think Game is far better lyrically.  Game doesnt have lyrics like a Ras Kass but dude is clever w/ wordplay and uses some nice metaphors at times.

Very mature, picking one line out of about 200.

Yet you like Games Im Big, Im Pac, Im Cube, Im Nas. Fantastic wordplay from Game. I wonder if theres a hidden meaning to it ?

50 Cent Pre2003 >>>>>>>> Game, All day long.

but at present Im feeling Game more, just by the simple fact that I always anticipate new Game songs than 50's.

Plus if you want a good Game verse here you go.

[The Game]
Chamillionaire made my grill hundred flores
Made my wheels Lamborgini whip
The doors up on 24ls I'm paid for real
L.A.P.D wanna lock me up
Impound my lambo, watch me scramble
Eagle on my lap throw bullets like Randell
Bitch in the passinger side grab the handle
Smoke the tires, throw it into first
Get the chronic throw it in the dirt
Ghetto bird over my shoulders I'm just rolling Lemme see if theres a
problem like work
I'm switching lanes, cutting up a swisher mang
I ain't tripping mang, I'm just dipping mang
Trying to get some brains
Sittin back in the lambo watching the Pistons game
Stop at a light, told y'all'd miss The Game
You love me and Quik the same
Cause we West Coast veterans
Nobody better than, D.O.C set an 'em
I can't let it in, not here, not now
Throw it into fifth and let the top down
Way to quick I can't be locked down
Foot up on the gas where the cops now
Pull over park the whip
Call chamillionaire and talk some shit
Almost forgot this bitch head on my lap
Pull the ponytail get off my dick
Matter fact grab your shit, fix your weave
Get your louie bag and get out my whip
One more thing, you forgot your wire bitch

lol most of the songs you picked were sing-a-longs. "Get in My Ride", "I'm Supposed to Die Tonight", "Gunz Come Out", "Ill Whip Yo Head Boy". I have a friend who hates Game but even he admits that his lyrics are better than 50s. 50 just has great production & catchy hooks. It's fuckin sad that anyone can actually consider this dude a lyricist.

oh, LMAO @ "God Gave Me Style"
"House shoes & coffee: I know the paper gone come"

I dont even believe were having a discussion over who is a better lyricist right now, that shit is a no brainer.

See what the problem is too much east coast dick lickin
And everybody tryin to do their best 2pac rendition
Listen they wonder how I live with 5 shots
Niggaz is hard to kill on my block
When you was in the streets comin of age
I was in the streets pumpin the gauge
While you was rappin I was makin it happen
On the block with a k
While you was with the roc on the stage
I had rocks on the stage
On headliner for the front page we know that you front
You be on sunset doin what? Gettin your punk ass stunt
You gon respect us or that fo' rippin through the vests
And you know who you are deaf nigga'll get the message
Malik or M-E-M-P-H Bleek
Fuck around and be a B-I-T-C-H sleek
Cuz all that yappin dude will get guns clappin dude
And stop Memphis from rappin dude, huh

One of my favourite game verses......

No, the said thing is that Game is considered to be a lyrically monster on this forum.

Not to mention he never sticks to one topic on his verse. Hes a horrible story teller, 3 or 4 bars, then its back to "Im from city of angels, Compton, 64 Impala...
