I haven't gotten around to watchin all these yet.. but now that I've realized you can see almost any video on YouTube, I've been watchin some my own personal classic video's from back in what I consider to be the golden era of hip-hop 95-96.. it's lovely watchin these old classics, here's some of the one's that I've been checkin out, or I'm about to check out...Dr. Dre and Group Therapy "East Coast Killa/West Coast Killa"- Historic video, Dre was a visionary, he put this out just before Pac died, this was Dre's brief venture into conscious hip-hop, he was soundin really intelligent in his Source cover article from that summer as well.Crucial Conflict- "Hay"- Amazing track, beat is mesmorizing, it's kind of a novelty record nowadays.Ghetto Boys- "World Is A Ghetto"- I didn't really think of it as a conscious record back in the day, but watchin it again man, they were gettin madd deep with their lyricsAZ- "Sugar Hill"- I used to listen to this song when I was 14 and imagine myself being on some bitch with my girl one day with hella doe away from everyone and everythingwhen I get more time... next I'm going to check out...Master Ace- "INC Ride"- This was the theme song for my friends and I at the end of 95Kriss Kross- "Tonight's The Night"- yeah.. I was 13 and into all that playa/mack type of music back then....This is like digging up my past, there's alot more video's I want to see from that era... anyway.. just sharing with ya'll... older heads might relate.. peace
I just downloaded the INC Ride the other day and it brings back so many memories. Masta Ace is the shit.
